Why just give up so easily..............we boleh bukan! Chiken farming very tiring and swiftlet shit is always better than cicken shit lah. All for all, swiftlet farming make faster money and no bird flu............but

One thing for sure chicken farming is something like swiftlet farming.

One, swiftlet return to its breeding place all the time just like chicken. So, once they lay their eggs there once, they aften return to their nest or place even if you have removed the nest.
Two, like chicken, if you take away their eggs, they will just lay more eggs.
Three, they have also bird brain, so don't worry. ha ha ha

NO need chicken farming lah. Just go Pasar and buy the chicken . Make sure keep some money for soya sauce ok! Then in this way u will be better than those ended up with 2 "LampaR" after 3 years of 100k investment. They only got 2 eggs hardly can fill their stomach but you got the whole chicken and best of all no loses of 100k investment.

So buying chicken in pasar is a smarter choice!

yeah I really interested in swiftlets farming but investment cost too high la, as I like to divesified as well, I don't really mind as long as guarantee return. As I got the place ready.



BTW, can any sifus give some tips how to start from bottom? like a simple step by step, very general advise such as what to buy, build, prepare, place etc. just to test if the birds really come.

Start from bottom is read from post 1 to current you will learn more basics. Don't be lazy lah don't spoon feeding culture. Equip yourself with the knowledge in this field. Want to get serious into this field then be serious don't acah-acah aje.

! stone 2 birds, in BH we get 1 nest 2 birds and no stone....... and a little risk in BH investment but the return is good. The best investment so far........and the capital really not that high comparing to other investment.

To know basic knowledge about building and maintenance of BH, there are so many websites, forums and free consultations provided. If needed, you may even enroll in one of the course then you can talk like a consultant already ha ha ha. Basic knowledge is where you and everyone start, but we are human not swiftlet and we try to understand why and how they do this and that from experience and mistakes and you get all these for FREE.

To know more, go to any website, and swifbuilt's site is one of them and Harry's blog is also good and many many others. Nothing in life can be guaranteed 100% and if there is any, let me know ............... FD only give 3.5% and inflation is many times more lah so if you keep your money in Bank, you lost more even after getting the interest. As we talk, building a BH now will cost you alot more. Even the land cost twice since last year, shit!!!

Added on July 8, 2008, 6:24 pmAnyone know any about the current price of the unprocessed Bird nests. Here, the middleman say that the price is down about 10%. 3 finggers A type only Rm4400 max. and corner type is 1K less, what about your area?

If price keep dropping, I will have birdnest for B'fast, Lunch and D'ner. Healthy living...........

hi west wing, this happens to the BH i'm trying to improve on too. lower ground ...

just wondering if we can add another sound system independent from the upper floors? but still play same sound la, since dragging the wires around from upper to lower might disturb the birdies...coz last time do BH that time stupidly put 1 tweeter in a room nia.

Great Idea, yes have another set of sound system for the lower floor. This way, you can control the sound on the lower floor better and another idea, you may have different sound for the lower floor. Using this method, you can search for new sound without disturbing the unper floor and you can control the volume better. Better sound management on your BH.

Hope to hear good news from you on your development. Write down all you have done, and what happen and then we shall see.

Need a bird chirping sound to do bird call test. Any members willing to exchange for an internal or external sound?????

i was just thinking if this industry is big enough to form a market - like stock market. at least the supplier and consumer might get the most benefit out of this market where information are widely available. maybe next time we'll have bird nest futures and derivatives products. hehehe. never know right? since china also build its Olympic structure like a bird nest.

another question i was wondering is mist sprayer vs chicken humidifier, any one actually did an experiment on it to see its effectiveness?

It's just a blog lah. What's a blog? Some dude's online diary only lah. The articles posted are based on owner's self experience and point of view. It shouldn't be treated as a farming guide. Though some dude did print them out and keep like treasure. It's the readers' mindset that matters. These bloggers spent hours writing the articles without getting any pay. When you see some inaccurate info straight away shoot people. What have you done when you learned something useful from the blog? Did you credit the blogger??

Like any other informations in the world all need to be analysed and filtered. Just like those pantang larang passed down by old people to the next generations. Will the new generation listen to them? No supprise there are some follow 100% e.g. newly gave birth women if wash hair will become crazy lah, kids cry too much stomach will store air lah etc. I'll show white eyes whenever my folks advice me of those so call informations.
So many unproven informations out there. Over thousand birds circling new jamban BH lah. Over thousand nests growth rate in less than a year lah. 7 feet birdroom 6 months 59 nests lah. Believe or not up to you lah all no prove no picture no video. One type of rice eaten by hundreds types of human. Got Regional King of Air Cannon lah, King of FFK and 0% online Ah Long's customer lah, tiny bean stuff hit kompang tour the kampung lah, all types of kakis also got. Wipe up eyes to see people lah. No need to quote in large red font lah. None of our business ok. Football coach not necessary need to be best player mah. From my humble point of view. Cari makan no problem but cari makan also don't treat customers as Dogania subplana or Rattus norvegicus though they may volunteered to be one. Tests and experiments are good but make sure no animal were harmed or the animals' pocket were harmed. Enaugh said.
