I also received the stupid charges from the marcrok. can anyone here tell me where the company location coz i wanna bom the company

almost RM100 ++ they charged me every month

stupid MacroK...i just called maxis to stop the services, i have nv apply or register to any 5 digit number sms b4...even the bank ones... they charged me rm2.50 each sms, called them and stop the service and say will discount the amount for me next month =.=

for three months macrok sms scammed from an estimated total of rm92.5

the maxis fellow called me last night and said only 50% refund for me.

Guys, do check my previous post. I have once ask MacroK to refund me, not Maxis. I called up Maxis and they didn't even refund me a single cents, due to I am just using prepaid? I don't know.

Asking Maxis to block Macrok is not enough. Why? MacroK are not register to a number only. They have several number for your information. Simply go to Maxis website, ECP page and search for MarcroK. You will see plenty of numbers under them.

Call up MacroK company and warn them not to send you any sms at all. Block all sms to you. They will do it and refund you. It is normal for them to refund. doh.gif

impossible to call MacroK. i called a few times during working hours on weekdays and every call went to a voice machine.

maxis refunded me 50%. half a loaf is better than none.

received the bill today found they charging me RM20 ! (RM2.50 X 8) for nothing, really piss off ! Immediate i call the Maxis to vent my anger... vmad.gif The lady say will reverse back and barred this MacroK for me...

im a prepaid user and got this too,so i never top up,after a few month i topped rm10, then directly deduct rm3,within 2 hours rm10 gone le,even maxis free gift rm5 credit also get deducted. if top up 30. i think all wil get deduct too. very annoying =-=

Prepaid users will also be affected. If you ever received something like this, check your balance. Chances are your balance will be alot less than what you remembered it was a few minutes ago

why dun u all complain to director of NCCC like wat i am doing right now?for those macrok victims pls stand up and report to related authorities...and complain is against maxis not macrok...cos is maxis who take $$ from u guys..

goto Jeffooi.com search his older post. he did a good expose on this MacroKiosk and SMS scam.

It not like no one report MK to Maxis or the authority. its rather no action taken or sufficiently to get them to toe the line.

MNP is here. switch to another operator. u get scam RM20/mth compared to MNP costing you RM25.

This is one of the reason i rather loss my number and switch to DiGi. I am totally pissed with this scam thing.

how can you stand getting scam RM100 a month and still dun do anything??? the scam me 10sen oso i m pissed.

unless you move away from the operator (which i suspect is the one with green logo), you will continue to be the victim.

MK is a repeated offender with MCMC. MCMC are just dragging their leg about this. Complaint to Maxis and MK, both side are splitting the $$ the scam from you. its a win-win situation for them. They will also drag their feet.

the only thing i suggest you do is move away from Maxis. MNP is here, so you dun hv to worry about losing your own number.

i just receive call from them...they will refund me full amount from the 1st day of subcription until the end of the day i close it @@
but it takes 3 months time to process the shyt and take 2 weeks to send the cheque to me

While getting the refund, Please also file your complaint here. This is the only authority that can get to the root of the problem. But we need numbers to get quicker attention. MicroK is playing this game....you complaint...I refund you, so you rest your case. But there are million other prepaid users never aware or never make complaint.

I don't usually check my phonebill...becoz i always got roaming charges n such and i didnt really look into each line items...somehow, i have discovered it recently and i realised that they have been charging me RM50 for almost 2 year plus...i'm so surprised and i went to the office to ask for their customer service representative. and the guy said will discuss with "their client" in order to sort of for refund....i'm going to call them everyday to ask for status update....seriously, i scolded maxis too, i trusted u as a service provider and why all these things happen, the guy from maxis said customer is responsible for checking their own bill....i really feel upset about what they said, is not professional at all....

But i will take action if they dont refund me my money....
