eh gais, mau tanya

my old AL1130CV charger for 12v/10.8v battery (year 2009) is it compatible with 2.0ah 12v batteries?
*
yes it's compatible. maybe takes a bit longer to charge till full.
i have the same charger bought during 10.8v time before they brand it as 12v.

QUOTE(lucifah @ Sep 11 2017, 11:28 AM)
heck, u cant even fit an arm in that tight space. hahaha

multi cutter is shit. i run down 2 expensive blades (rm60 each) and not even half of the bolt thread is cut. cry.gif

a sabre saw will be too big to fit. if i use a hack saw blade, it will take me 6 hours

the last job i had was hack and hack and brutal hack to shear off that bolt. it took me 4 hours just to remove that 1 last damn bolt.

this is the damage to my arm. i have to cut 2 16mm box wrench to try to unbolt the nut, which takes about 1 turn / every 30 mins. LoL

luckily the bosch 18v grinder is sort of nearly waterproof. quite a lot of water seeped into the vents (i was trying to detach a water cooling coil) and luckily the motor did not stop working

oi wear some sleeves ler.
gonna be hot and sweaty and uncomfortable but beats having cut marks.

straight buy the mini grinder ler. at least something to help in tight spaces.
or bring a bolt to a shop that has demo set and try it there see if it has enough power. bring your own 2a batt full charged.

Walau so shiong. How narrow the place you're talking?

This kind of arm hand scratch is pretty normal to me last time.  biggrin.gif

Even we use cord grinder to cut for water cooling tower. 1 person cut, and another person stanby at the switch. Incase he get shock.  sweat.gif

very deep, luckily can still reach within an arm length. it's the bolt at the floor pan. i can't take off the side panel because there is a heating coil sandwiched in between, and opening it risk damage to the delicate fins. hahah

how narrow? let's say i have to cut off the pipe header at several sections just to make space for my arm to go in laugh.gif

i need kevlar gloves that can cover up to the armpit if they have

and talking about gloves, wearing them make you lose your finger dexterity.

and this job, it's more like a desparate move already. i have a 12am deadline. been working since 8am. non stop (ok, only 30 mins lunch break) and it is already 9pm when we finally managed to break the final bolt.

changing OT's AHU is very stressful. they want minimal downtime. i assure them they can start terminal cleansing by midnight. fuuhh... lucky break for me.

another one this weekend, so that's why i am willing to spend some money to get a tool that will save me a couple more hours of stress.

haha... also can't. becasue the heating coil is sandwiched in between. they are made of copper. i thought of using a torch lance, but was advise against it for fear of damaging the coils and causing itnernal fractures, which is very expensice to replace (and its going to come out from my own pocket) LOL

anyway, made my purchase already. damn, that lazada thread is very poisonous. hahaha

1x GWS12v-76 = RM 363
1x 12V 2ah batt = RM 83
10x 76mm 10AS cutting disc = RM 46

Hi guys. I have an old Bosch GSR 9,6-2 drill. It’s not working. I suspect it’s the charger. It blinks when I try to charge a battery but the battery doesn’t warm up even a bit. I will test the charger with a multi meter tomorrow. What sort of voltage should I expect from the chargers’s terminals? It’s a 7.2-14.4 charger.

as the model name suggest, it's a 9.6V

and this is pretty old, using ni-cad batteries

u will need a ni-cad charger. and most probably its the cells that are dead. ni-cad are pretty notorious for its short lifespan and so called "memory effect"
