i bought 1 pack normal size...
and then use net to filter the small size out...
of course not as fine as the powder type, but better than nothing

@Zangetsu - I think the price for what you got is ok.I duno actual price for 2L tank but look like you got manual valve also.its price around RM70-100 ( double price for auto solenoid valve if u want to upgrade later)
normally 3L (tank only) is around RM250-300 at LFS.

i've washed my sponge but still the water flow is weak..i believe is the motor....dang it....now i believe cheap thing not good...good thing not cheap...will try hunt for another filter...canister filter is suitable for 18" x 8" x 8" tank?? and how much is it normally??

btw i saw in ADA JP that they selling ADA journal..only rm32 per issue..wonder who bought it before and is it nice??i went to ADA Malaysia/singapore and found out that they don't sell such journal...ish

i have a question...how long should i open the co2?is it 23 hours or 8 hour when i switch on the light

the bad thing bout using the manual regulator is, you cannot set timer to on off the CO2 supply....
for me, i go for 24/7... ahahahaha

It is allright to turn on for 24 hours ASLONG as you aerate your tank at night...

Also: crushing ADA Aquasoil normal will turn into MUlm or Mud. LOL!

For a 1feeter plus tank like yours, either get Classic 2213 or Eccos, They do not come cheap but the quality is superb. I personally favour the Classics for quality and Eccos for convenience.. Be prepared to spend at least almost rm 200 LOL

oh... thanks for the idea... will try dat out next time...

co2 best switched on during photo period only... but since u using manual regulator, jz let it on 24/7... aerate ur tank when off photo period to allow more co2 escape from the water so ur fish wont suffocate from insufficient oxygen...
