1. How frequent you all change your setup?
A seller told me that the ADA soil fertilizing can only last for 2-3years
then is time to get the soil change.
Is the statement true?

2. OOT a bit, my friend bought a pack of white sand.
The water he filled in the tank also become white color d.
I think is probably cause by the powdery of the sand.
What shall i do to make the water clear?

ADA soil yes, from ADA Japan they also mentioned can use 2~3 years...
but go check the huge tank from Mr. Amano, more than 2~3years already
2~3 years, consider long duration already


2) what sand? sirui sand?
If sirui sand, do you read the instruction at the plastic there? wash before use...
now only u can do is, WC more frequent...

About the white sand,
it's Aqua Star pure white sand, there is no instruction on the packing,
and the sand not for plant purpose, is just for decoration.

It's look beautiful when you using white sand for decoration, but remember you must always make sure your aquarium is free from alga, alga can make you white sand look very worst, like as you wearing white shirt and must careful from chili sauce , hahaha..

I was wondering where I could find this particular stones around PJ area in LFS.
1) Ryuo Stones
2) Seiryu Stones
3) Manten Stones

Preferably Seiryu Stones as it makes very interesting Iwagumi landscape. Went to search in The Curve today but they don't carry it. Any ideas?
