From the huawei toolbox, the new 900mhz can't CA with other bands such as b3 or b7. Guess it will only improve 4g and not 4g+?

Well, 900Mhz may be great for signal penetration but it is slower than 1800Mhz or 2600Mhz in most cases.

It can't do CA with other band and I believe the bandwidth is only 5Mhz. Digi is broadcasting 10Mhz at 2600Mhz and 1800Mhz.

I hope Digi will launch 20Mhz on their 1800Mhz soon. Mind you Celcom is pushing for 20Mhz 4X4 in the future.

Edit: So, don't hold your breathe for it. Your 1800Mhz is probably faster.

In that case, 900mhz is Nothing much to get excited about, speedwise that is.

Digi only had 20MHz block on 1800MHz and if all used for 4G, they have to shut down their 2G. Previously, Digi is running 2G on 900MHz and 1800MHz and now only 1800MHz.

You can add in those bands. Mine has B3+B8, B7+B8 and B8 only. Not sure if it will eventually work or not, last tried I still can't detect B8.

Oh I see now. The toolbox shows b3+b20 and b7+b20 so I thought can't CA 900mhz. it turns out that i need to edit the configs to make it b3+B8 and b7+B8.

However bro Blacktubi said that digi 900mhz can't CA. Still possible, maybe..

Ayer keroh area so so less than 10 mbps. Jasin quite good, i can get 30 mbps.

Seem digi reply my complain about slow speed during peak hour in nilai through sms.

ive done 2 complaints through apps. none was replied

anyone has noticed speed improvement? last time i reported to cs they said tower upgrade will completed by yesterday. .and now seems like no improvement.i ..will give them another 1 day. if not will proceed to skmm. some people told he once report to skmm due congestion, and after report the congestion problem solved.i think this is the only way to teach them.

tower upgrade is an excuse for them la... only swap vendor would have such timeline.....
it is impossible to stop upgrade by 30 june 2017 like tat.
the upgrade is always continuously and it nvr ends one ....

Same as my situation. Live in taman merdeka more than 10 years and stuck forever with that slowmyx 1mbs. The max i can get on my slwomyx is around 800kbs. Now with IF150 , average speed non-peak hour 20-30mbs. But night time facing heavy network congestion recently.

Any idea how to configure the e5186 the phone port is not working when attach with the phone ?

Set the network option to LTE preferred or AUTO.
