Hey guys, im new in 5186S-22a. Got one noob question, what is the purpose to select API control setting in 5186s toolbox ? I had tried select api/dhcp/settings, but it show error.

Last night i tried select api/dchp/settings, then it show all those commands, the error pop out right after i click write to API. Any step do i missed ? By the way, should i update the firmware as well ?

i having issue to surfing the website, it keep loading or even the site can’t be reached. However, i able to watch youtube. Anyone facing the same situation like me in Melaka area ? Planning to cut my 1mbs shitmyx, but it seems like Digi is unstable as TM...sigh...

Does upgrade the Huawei 5186s-22a firmware will improve the speed ? My area support LTE-A, set CA B3+B7 LTE only, but the speed is not as good as expected. Average 8mbs- 20mbs only.

I called cs, he said my area indoor 4G full bar, outdoor LTE-A 3 bar. And i learn to tweak the LTE band from this forum

Wondering if VPN can bypass the speed limit ? What if using a 4G router enable wifi, consider as hotspot as well ?

I having this kind of weird issue. Normal time i can get download 20-30mbps. But when night time my connection is suck. Check the speedtest , i can barely get 6-10mbps, with high ping and low upload speed or some time zero upload Tower faulty ? Is totally unusable during night time.

I dont think is network congestion, it must be something happen to the tower or something else. Previously is super fast and smooth. But now, i cant even wechat or whatsapp. I miss my slowmyx 1mbps

Indeed ! The wifi coverage is a crap, sometime my pc cant even detect the AP. This router is overrated.

Really? my 5186s indoor signal 3 bar, avr 8-20mbps. Will it boost the speed if i use this antenna ?

What is your current firmware version ? some said will get improvement in term of speed etc. Mine firmware version perhaps older than yours.

Do you mean direct update as show in the picture looks like ? im planning to do so, but scare cant on9 after update

LOL, i'm not a hardcore streaming user, but i'm glad to replace my shitmyx to DIGI. although facing network congestion or high ping sometime, but is much much much better than my previous 1mbs shitmyx (which waiting speed upgrade forever ). Imaging you driving an old model Kancil 660cc last time and change to drive a Honda civic 1.5 turbo (happy yelling ). Duno how I survive for many years with that Shitmyx which make me want bang my head to the wall most of the time . Hopefully other telco can provide unlimited internet in order reduce the network congestion.

on IF150, facing heavy network congestion 10pm-12am everyday at my living area. Totally not usable even wechating with my darling. Shxt loh....
