you are running on copper and your modem details is as describe.

DL4480V is a VDSL2 4-in-1 device that combines the functions of high speed VDSL2 modem, 4-port NAT router, VoIP gateway and wireless AC access point.

I'm currently using VIP5... can I change to Unifi lite RM129.  Since I seldom using the free call time!
*
Terminate yr VIP5 and apply for Unifi Lite RM129 (RM137 inclusive of GST), but you will lose your free 600min calls, HyppTV STB, and sign for new 24 months contract.

Go to TMPoint to terminate yr subscription. Apply for Unifi Lite RM129 (RM137 incl of GST), and you will not enjoy 600min free calls, HyppTV STB, and you agree for another 24months contract.

According to TMPOINT Damansara Utama, the package of Unifi Lite RM99 + WEBE RM79 will be available to new or existing users for all states starting 1Aug to 30Sept.

yah, they POC for some Johor projects, now they gonna open to nationwide.

slowly their unifi services will converge with webe services. this could be a small step towards that.

Do not cancel it before you get the new cause you might face the port full issue and you will not have chance to get the Unifi so soon if port full happen in your area.

Currently a streamyx user with no contract. Possible to straight upgrade from streamyx instead of terminate current streamyx first?

Unifi at your area is VDSL2 (FTTC) or FTTH?
If VDSL2 (Copper), you need to terminate your Streamyx to give way to Unifi VDSL2.
If FTTH (Fibre), then ask for migrate to Unifi, TM will install a new cable from DP to your house. You should be prepared to pay for some installation cost (eg wiring inside ceiling).

What are the charges for installation fee and equipment?
Installation charge for UniFi is RM200 (currently waived for standard installation for 15 metres
only). If your premise requires non-standard installation or additional cabling, extra charges
will be imposed by TM Contractor at
https://www.tm.com.my/OnlineHelp/Documents/...nstallation.pdf.
The standard package is inclusive of equipment worth approximately RM1,000 that will also
be given free-of-charge to customers.

Try 10Mbps first, it will be upgraded to 20Mbps in the future if you trust Pak Jib. You can upgrade to higher speed anytime without paying penalty.
