Erm... its not that bad seriously. The package that comes with unifi lite is way way way better than the standard Astro On the Go. For bedroom use, then it would say its quite ok already as I already have Iptv on my other android box downstairs.

FYI, HyppTV Everywhere Jumbo Lite or Ruby packs (use up to 2.8mbps) are good for me, and I may add a particular channel for myself/kids for RM6/9 per month (I haven't tried yet). I am terminating my decade-old Astro service and move to NJOI (which I may add a kids pack at RM20 for 30 days). I use HyppTV+NJOI to replace Astro.

just some sharing... finally today i got my router changed from TP-Link C1200 model to TM's RGX4400 router...

my problem with unifi lite was using the tp-link router, all android phones will have connection issue...especially uploading to certain websites or most websites... if you follow my post previously, i will have upload problem to mudah or even lowyat (upload attachment in post) and this only happens to my Android phones. When i use speedtest, upload will be 0Mbps...

So looks like according to the technician who is attending to my ticket, i am the 2nd case for him...another user facing similar issue... this issue, using the same router will not appear for Unifi 30Mbps package, the technician told me something about different server or routing, i don't really catch what he meant, but conclusion is... for Unifi Lite, if any of you using TP-Link C1200 and you have wifi connection issue to your Android phones... best chance is try change the router...

FYI, i had to persistently raise a few tickets to get this issue solved. Previously, they sent the installer to my house and he only know how to follow the step by step installation of router and then he claim if phone problem, it's not telekom issue already. But this time, looks like they escalated this case to another level and another technician came with the installer and he did a more thorough debug, like checking every single setup in my router...and also i was told for new router, ipv6 enable is OK, ipv6 issue was old issue already...

Anyway, glad i can finally enjoy my unifi on my handphone..... yes !!!!!!

I don't care if it is not TP-Link (I assume TP Link is branded and perhaps more expensive) but eventually this router works for me and I am damn happy now... else a bit heart pain knowing I am under contract for 2 years and I need to live with this issue...

7 month ago i subscribed streamyx 4mb. ping very good 12ms at the beginning. after few month suddenly no internet. make report. settled in a day. but ping become 30ms. not long after that internet problem again keep dc during afternoon till night for a week. make report, settled in few days. change modem, change port. got extra jump speed but ping still same.
and latest. tm technician tak sengaja usik my cable at pole. my internet putus. told him and he fixed it. but, no more jump speed, bad line, telephone no tone, ping become 40ms and more, reduce upload speed. cannot call 100, tmlive chat no respond for a whole day, slow respond in twitter and fb with no attemp to fix.
so i hope this unifi lite no problem like that.

The problem with streamyx copper line is every year I need to call tm net to go fix the connection outside my house because the part they connect the wires together will get rust and sometimes disconnected... otherwise I get good ping and connection most of the time... make sure the tm technician really seal and wrap the copper cable outside your house properly...
