They do not have welcome gift for NTB on these newly launched Duo cards?

1st time with them for BHP card, bad and slow application. that was back in 2018.

since then, i believe they've improved the card application process. During MCO, their staff contacted if wanna apply card/FD/services. So, i took the opportunity to apply the VS card as backup to Quantum Visa.

now, i'm asking the staff again to add Duo cards.

Hopefully things will be better now. I really don't hope to visit their branch for any other matters, not commonly found.

Hi. If we apply credit cards,
is there any grace period we must hold on before we can ask to cancel the card if we don’t like it?
And by cancelling, will that affect us anyway e.g blacklisted by bank etc etc?

I just went to the nearest branch last 2 weeks and give their assistance branch manager some lectures because of their poor queue system... 3 counters, only one serving. Another 2 act very busy. One counter took 1hr to serve one customer.

No give queue number at all and someone cut my queue. I can't accept when saw people cut my queue after long waiting .

After settle all. They call me the next day, told me my NRIC photocopy blur I say I can send them the softcopy via WhatsApp so no need to take the time to visit your branch. Officer say cannot. They need to get my data from my IC.

The next day when I ready to drive, received call again say no need already. HQ accepts the 'blur' photocopy.

Don't play play, terus kasi one biji proton for campaign. No need all the monthly cashback game

Haha..seem like Affin really doing bad in their service. I do have bad experience with them as well.
Anyhow, the Duo cc cashback is something people could not denied it

I'm existing Affin card holder. Recently applied another card, VS through email. First time file size was too large, so I split into several emails. Each time I get the acknowledgement message. No email reply from any officer or even acknowledgement that application is being processed. After about 2 weeks, got call and sms informing card approved.

All these was before Duo card, I think Affin will be over whelmed... haha

I don't mind as long has have happy ending. Don't later - sorry there is no record

By the way, are you able to create an online account using just the affin CC or you need to have a savings account with them?

Was worried, I think 2 weeks plus with no news or reference number.

I do not have online account. Previously, need to register at branch.

Yeah bro, no worries. That's why I have been asking for volunteers instead of applying as one Hope the new thread is up and running soon.

Staff overload. I guess they have never receive so many applications at one time.

Happened before to other cc products from other banks. Popularity of card doesn't mean anything .... just a popular card that's all.
However, now most financial institution staff operate on rotation basis or WFH thus the processing time is longer than usual.

this evening I called cs asked about the auto billing thingy
she said need to go to branch register for an online account
btw, attitude cs very nice

Good to heard new credit card launch in market with attractive return, definitely visit Affin branch again next week for Duo cards application.

For Visa Signature 3%, yup based on T&C mentioned wave and pin is not eligible and I have been tried myself too hahaha, no cash back.

This Affin bank seem like aim for credit card market now while other banks keep cutting down the benefits, overall this is surely beneficial for us !!
