Just pay statement balance on 16th.

Yes, MBB will not reduce the statement balance, just check the outstanding payment if being reduced.

Can anyone provide confirmed advice:

For the restriction of 2 credit cards issuers for those earning between 24K to 36K per annum, does it applies to CC obtained via pledge as well?

China's merchant mostly accept only Union Pay card. very seldom you will find a merchant can accept Visa/Master Card outside airport.

There's, in bigger cities like Beijing and Shanghai. I even had no issue using my AmEx there (some merchants) but I cannot use in Chengdu, Chongqing and Yunnan. Anyway, these days I just stick to WeChat Wallet which my China friend working in Malaysia "gave" me in angpau and I paid her back in MYR. Easier this way, can scan my phone all the time and everywhere in China.

Hi all, I've been using Maybank Islamic PETRONAS Ikhwan Visa Gold for a few years. I'm now advised that a replacement card with new CVV requires me to re-register all my insurance and monthly payments to the new credit card details, so i'm now looking around for better offers (since it'll be just as much hassle anyway). I was able to change my CIMB master card with the exact same credit card number, just different security digits last time, maybe things have changed nowadays.

Didn't have a very nice conversation with the last MBB officer so a different bank would be nice. Any card to recommend for someone who doesn't want to pay annual fee, and doesn't mind too much whether to choose treat points or cashback?

PS: I clear my credit card balance almost every month.

Want to ask:

I want to cancel one of my credit card, but i still have instalment in that card. So if I go on to cancel it, will I able to cancel the card?

If i can cancel, what will happen to my instalment? Do i need to pay in full (early settlement) or I will still be billed until the instalment period ends (only that i cannot use the card)?

You need to settle the instalment first then only can cancel

Or request for final statement including all balance of instalment then cancel

By pre-deposit 4K to the card, you will have 9K CL for your card.
Swiping 8K will be just fine without excess fee.
