QUOTE(dennisyeoh @ Dec 3 2017, 04:12 AM) just asking if is it really a big difference in maintenance cost for triumph street tripple compare to the japs bike I didnt own a triumph but rode with the one who had Triumph Tiger 800...Basically if you buying new one, need to service in Fast Bike Triumph (M) and if not mistake the fees around.. (2years at least for the warranty) Every 10k Service or one year... Minor service 500 RM ++ Every subsequent 20k is consider major service = 1000++ due to valve check and adjustment (open top cylinder head cover and potentially change the gasket) This is normal routine maintenance outside from wear n tear. 1. Tyres 2. Brake Pads 3. Chain and Sprocket 5. others.. |

QUOTE(dennisyeoh @ Dec 3 2017, 04:12 AM) just asking if is it really a big difference in maintenance cost for triumph street tripple compare to the japs bike normal maintenance maybe not much difference, but if u r buying used bike, and some parts need to be replaced, then the cost of parts is what u need to find out. All bike distributors should have a list of parts with rrp price, and customers should be able to get this price list. But rrp price, the dealer can mark up further. so.... |

One week ago KTM MSia with VPOwer motor organised a 3 day test ride @ Giant HYper setapak car park. Earlier there is also a test ride event @ a penang dealer. So, what can you test out of a bike in a small car park?? The new duke 390, size of this bike is bigger almost as big if not bit bigger that mt07 , z650.. the seat is taller, for 29in inseam, only manage to tip toe one foot. 55kg on the seat, the rear sus won't sag a bit, compared to the old duke. Drive by wire throttle is very instant and responsive. SA said the suspensions have been improved, and if you dash over a speed bump the bike will not be bouncy.. too bad the car park is very smooth, and no pot holes to test.. The demo bike is fitted with a original akrapovic slip on, and feels very quiet. Once you ride it you can definitely forget the so called 'mesin jahit' sound. Engine braking is kind of minimal at 1st 2nd gear, vibration up to 5k rpm, is low at the handlebars, abit of buzz on the pegs, can't be felt on the seats. Looks like KTM dealers are required to purchase their own demo bike, as this photo from the media test ride, shows the reg no are from different states. some dealers are selling off the demo bikes at mudah, with discount. https://www.mudah.my/KTM+Duke+390+2017+Demo...e+-61116933.htm https://www.mudah.my/Ktm+duke+390+ABS+2018+...IT-60498416.htm |

At the recent EICMA, Benelli ambitiously introduced up to 9 bikes.
The 752S... "..750 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine. Maximum power and torque are respectively 81.6 hp at 9000 rpm and 67 Nm at 6500 rpm. " weight could be an issue... @ 220kg dry.. this is heavy for a 750cc bike... with the " yet to be seen " leoncino... now you have the " leoncino sport. for future leoncino owners, most likely u can buy the bling parts from taobao in the future... alot of potential bike owners ask about maintenance cost of a particular bike. first it is the responsibility of the bike distributor to provide a complete parts price list to the public. The complete price of parts of all Benelli bikes are posted on MForce's website in pdf file. http://mforce.my/benelli/Part_Catalog_Benelli.php is kawasaki , HLY BSH doing the same?? The good thing about Benelli is, you can buy parts direct from taobao.. but there are risks of course.. A quick comparison between price of parts listed by Mforce and price from taobao. for TNT600 Oil filter - RM30.40 - TB price RMB20.00 Speedometer - RM582.90 - TB price - RMB430.00 Rider seat - RM158.50 - TB price RMB - 75.00 |

The stockist that manages this is in Gurun, Kedah. But, buying from local stockist somewhat cheaper. |
