QUOTE(basilisk @ May 9 2017, 09:39 PM) for my preference i will go for MT07, I'll go with the MT07 too. Caught my eye when i went bike shopping few months ago, but she'll have to wait; still in the process of getting used to riding, plus still on L.just ranting here, share some infos, and to create discussion in Msia, unless u r buying BMW, Ducati, it is impossible to test a bike... Read a few reviews comparing the MT07 against Z650, SV650 and Duke 690. Most said all were good bikes, with the MT07 being slightly favoured mostly. As for the one-up category MT09, it seems that Yamaha has slapped on an engine that outdoes the body, making it too easy to accidentally pop a wheelie. I've not ridden one but i think I'll give that a miss for now. The MT10 also pretty damn sweet, but at RM115....?! Think not |

On the topic of MT07, i understand the local models don't come equipped with ABS, ....is the ABS really gonna make a big difference? Some researchers in Australia think that ABS makes a 30 percent difference to your chances of an accident on a motorcycle.

QUOTE(chikuera @ Sep 23 2018, 11:58 AM) idk if the brand perception or the factory here is bad. My TNT 135 is at 13200km, 1½ years. Some loose bolts, and recently wire to ECU rubbed out against the frame and started SMOKIN AWAY when I cranked the engine. It's located under the pillion seat and tucked too close to the frame. quite a numbers of Benelli RFS 150i (only for sale in Malaysia) are at the SYM Segambut. From the talk, there are a lot of unsolved problem. Ive been riding Benelli TNT135 for close to 7 months now..so far I got: - meter panel broken after 1 day out of shop - settled for warranty (2 weeks at SYM Segambut) - just recently, my handle crown/bearing worn out! Not reach 1 year pun..malas settle warranty just ask kedai to buy sparepart to replace. And to think that MForce has the audacity to add a couple of other brands to be under their wing here in Malaysia, it baffles me. They should focused on the current mass market that they have sold first, such as SYM and Benelli, improve after sales etc, before testing new market. What do you guys think? Shd take a look at yours as I heard it's not an isolated case. Other than some minor issues, still a great bike at it's price point, I still use it frequently for my commute. Had a chance to ride a Grom and a Z125 a couple weeks ago and I'll say the TNT is a far better bike in terms of the riding experience (imho) by comparison. QUOTE(skincladalien @ Jun 6 2019, 07:32 PM) wanna ask, as a 40+ guy who just learned how to ride bicycle 2 years back then got motor license last year, isit ok to get like Z125 as a first bike to practice? Why not? It's a mini bike and easy to handle. I'm 40+ and learned to ride 2 years ago. I got the TNT135 back then as a learner bike cos I was going for my B-Full. It works, and it's good fun. I'm pushing it off soon. If you're interested, can PM me. |
