QUOTE(angel of deauth @ Jun 29 2017, 05:06 PM) Better to test drive to see for yourself. I'm sure there are drivers who do take the 1.0 for your same purpose. and i'm sure it climbs hills just fine, maybe slow a bit nia. Hi, i actually dont prefer too much technologies especially on the push start button..if premium x dont hv push start button, i will opt for that one..im just curious the push start button might be a big problem in a long run..Maybe consider another aspect instead of power; safety and comfort. If you can afford the advanced spec, you get VSC, ABS, EBD, BA and HSA. Considering your exposure on the road, you will have more driving confidence in most situations. |

QUOTE(neo_6053 @ Jun 29 2017, 07:13 PM) agree, basically if you are buying for long term car, i think can consider advance. coz it has 4 extra safety feature, leather seat, reverse camera, some skirting.. for extra 6k compare to premium-x, not too bad. leather seat will be easier to clean and i think less dust ... Does the push start button premium x user face any problem? What about long term or cost of repair estimated if the warranty voided or expired? Sorry for such questions..since i already face problem with push start button with my current car but luckily still under warranty..and from 1.0 to 1.3, you just pay extra 5000. ofcoz , at the end, depends on your budget... if really low on budget, just go with basic |

Push start button keyless entry actually is a simple thing..
That idle stop features is the tech that need to take into account.. |

Not a major issue. my daily driver has a push to start button and has been working well in the past 5yrs. even if spoil, like the other guys said, it's a small replacement.eco-idle is a defeatable system, as the car is still new, you won't have much data on breakdowns. personally, i am a believer of this tech, in my 8mths of owning this car, i've already spent 6hrs (!) idling at traffic lights on the battery in city driving. no signs of wear or weakening yet. car manufacturers will incorporate this into most cars because it helps with their mileage and emissions figures. as for Perodua, i believe that the battery and the starter are built for this purpose. it would be a normal wear & tear item, or we're just being the guinea pig. like you, i spend a lot of my time on the road, so the safety features means a lot to me. but it's your choice ultimately, i can only share with you my experience and belief. |

eco idle is a nice feature but the ROI of it is quite questionable, not sure whether the fuel saving by start stop able to offset the cost delta of the start stop battery that cost RM5xx vs ordinary battery that cost only RM2xx?

For now, the cost of deep discharge battery may be high. but over time, these parts get cheaper as it becomes more common. The usefulness (and maybe some form of ROI) is seen if the car spends a lot of time in city stop/start driving. if you travel long distances it doesn't do anything for you. we're still in the early stages in Malaysia, so try and see first lor. it's not too expensive as of now for new tech.I like Mazda's supercapacitor setup more actually, but what do.. |

Hi everyone, just wanna share my experience.
Received my ebony black Premium X Bezza on 7 March 2017 (2017 model). Parked at UKM Hospital for around 2 hours and instantly went to find a tint shop to tint due to the unbearable heat despite having SaharaX tint (ori) from perodua. However installed at a useless tint shop which recommended by my agent, feels no difference. (Tint was added onto the original tint, as long as the tint guy tinted properly, it should not have any problem for a long run and no double vision as some claimed, based on my previous cars) Been driving everyday to work almost 100km trip (Jln iph - Semenyih), and drive grab at night. Also frequently go genting and klia. Went kelantan also. Reached 10k mileage exactly 3 months of driving. First had problem of ticking sound, felt like was from the back, went to few SC didn't solve the problem.. Finally went to segambut SC and the ticking sound came from the jack under the passenger seat. Other than that, there had been other sounds but it comes and goes. Sometimes felt like from back speaker door side, sometime from dashboard, and sometime from driver side seatbelt area. Powerful car, really powerful, not sure why mine is better compared to other similar bezza. Top speed 190kmph on the way from KLIA to KL. Frequently drive above 120kmph. Had problem with tyres at first but after tyres are "wear or warmup" from a few trips, feels okay however I keep the pressure at 230-240kpa to lesser the "floating" effect. Problems with the car. Wind pushes you easily especially on high speed (but now im used to and able to handle it smoothly), soundproofing is shit (outside soundproofing quite expensive.. Even diy also expensive or maybe im just too poor), petrol consumption around 12-14km/l not as I expected although I drive aggressively (driven jazz hybrid 2013 model and got 16km/l with same aggressive driving). High beams are practically useless in my opinion, not bright and the angle is focusing to the middle only. And one of the biggest, shittiest problem that I have is the Radio. Poor reception, cant hear anything clearly, complained to SC, they told me need go Rawang to replace the parts as they dont have the radio in their sc. Don't know why but i feel only my bezza is affected. Maybe assemble error or what. Dont want to change radio yet because afraid later same problem then SC say void warranty coz changed radio. One of the nicest thing has became a problem for me is the AC. I drive GRAB/Uber at night thus frequently using AC, the AC is TOO BLOODY COLD even after I set it to the least cool and first blower. Even my customers complain too cold then have to put down the windows. Few minor setbacks are the front seats are too small for me (180cm height) compared to iswara seats, myvi and also jazz. Back seat are too straight. Bought a seatbelt hook to prevent the annoying buzzer sound. Hate that I can't close the aircond vents. Other than that, I love my bezza. Added visor, metallic door trim, small-d shape rubber at front 2 doors (a little lesser wind noise at high speed but harder to close door), a 4-in 1 rearview mirror ( front and rear camera and parking function), rubber door guard, drilled front and rear mudflaps and rubber-sprayed the boot body (the spare tyre area). |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « thank you for pointing out where the noise coming from passenger seat. Poor reception is because Bezza use shark fin radio reception. If they use antenna like Axia /Myvi. Then it might different. And the perodua radio aint good. Some after few years, the radio will go haywire. auto turn off or change to AM. (myvi, alza, same issue too) Your car is black, so of coz will easily hot. I think your new tint is magic tint. can be remove and install back. Soundproof can be improve by changing tyres too but have to sacrifice stability/grip. hope you can post a pic of your mods haha This post has been edited by shinkawa: Jun 30 2017, 09:38 PM |

Hey guys, new owner here.
Location: KL/Selangor Model: 1.3 Advance Colour: Glittering Silver Transmission: Auto One thing I noticed about the 2017 Bezza update that the journos didn't mention - the passenger side sun visor now has a mirror on it. When I test drove the Advance before the update, it had no mirrors in the sun visors. |

Any one know the gear ratio for premium x manual and auto transmission? Does it have overdrive ratio?
