yep agreed, i'm not expecting that high la. but i think myvi or even axia do not have this sound. i drove both cars also (not mine). it sound like the rear door is open/window open.

I think the RM1500 discount is from here but the Advance is bought at full price for the new face-lift model (maybe some agent would be willing to give discount for new face-lift version?).

But I went to one showroom and the one salesman said the RM1500 is for old model.

The other salesman from another showroom said the RM1500 is for new model.

Dear Bezza owners,

I'm facing a few problems with mine (1.3 Advance). Do any of you face these problem and how did you rectify? Also, if you are willing, please PM me the responsible service center you went to.

I've been to one and was told majority of these are all 'normal' by the technician. The counter fella did not even bother putting down all these problems on the sheet. Honestly wanted to scream but was scared I get caught on CCTV or something. Which reminds me the next time I go I will be filming my experience from start to end, nowadays it seems if not viral, no resolution.

Also let me know if there are ways to get Perodua's engineer's or top management attention on these matter via the proper channels. I'm considering a claim with KPDNKK/tribunal as a last resort (actually was told by them to resolve this with P2 first and if they fail, will have better case as it will seem they have sold to me a broken car)

1. 'Tik Tik Tik' sound (Unsure)
- This sound seems to come from the rear, left passenger sit area. Happens when the car is moving no matter how it is moving

2. 'Krakkrakkrakrak' sounds (Panel)
- This sound seems to come from the child seat mounts and certain parts of the rear plastic panel. I have partially solved this by squeezing some black cotton at the area where the windshield meets the boot and rear panel, this presses the rear panel down & stops some of the sound. Sound from the child seat mount was solved by myself with some blu-tack

3. 'Tik' sound (Panel)
- This sound comes from the driver side door, only happens when go over bumps
- There is also another sound that comes from somewhere in the driver side dashboard. Only heard twice

4. 'Khruk Khruk' sound (Suspension)
- This sound seems to come from the front and rear suspension when going over bumps

5. 'Dak' sounds (Gearbox)
- This sound comes from the gearbox when you let go of the pedal quickly and it changes to next gear. The gear change is rough when this happens. In some situation, maybe twice or thrice, could literally feel something in the gearbox slamming into another thing. Also happens when the gearbox is hunting between 3rd and 4th.

6. 'Gruuuuuuu' sound (Engine)
- This sound comes from engine/gearbox in 3rd and 4th gear when you are just pressing the pedal very lightly to maintain speed up a slight hill

7. Vibration before coming to a complete stop
-  Engine or gearbox vibration happens just before the car comes to a stop (slow moving from about 10km/h with light pressure on the brake to reach complete stop), vibration gone when stop

8. Engine almost died a few times
- Already happened 3 times. The engine seems to have very low RPM and vibrating violently when at a complete stop. I manage to feel it and push the gear from D to N quick enough. It stabilizes and subsequently when start to move again, problem is gone. Problem is random. Eco Idle is off

9. Engine surge/misfire when stopped
- Happened maybe about 6 - 8 times. When stop in D, the engine randomly has a surge/misfire feeling. It is not Eco Idle nor is it the AC compressor engaging. Can feel the force of the jerk on the car.

10. Different color 'tint lines' appearing on the head unit
- Happened once, yesterday to be exact, half the screen was correct color, another 30% was grey and 20% was white. Resetting the head unit with the reset button solved this

11. Engine is powerless during hot weather
- The difference between hot and cold weather is there. This happens at random but only in hot weather. Also, during AC compressor engagement and trying to move, the car just cant seem to want to move at all. It takes off like a 660 Kancil

12. Bad FC (unsure)
- Full city drive 10.5 - 11.7km/l with local short-distance (<5km) highway. For some it will be consider 90% city 10% highway

Still no luck. The loading bar still stuck at the 2nd bar and showing connection failed with 0x64 error code. Now when I tap into Smartlink in car it just show nothing but the brown color background color even unplugged my phone. Seems like need to ask the service center guy on this.

Mine only take roughly only 2 seconds to start. Eco Idle is widely use in  Japan and Europe so i think the technology is there already just malaysian haven't useded to it. The car starter and battery for advanced are different from other model such as premium x. They are more durable and much expensive. Also if you engaged reverse the engine should restart. Below are the conditions that eco idle will be cancle.

1. Once foot fully release from the break pedal
2. Cabin temperature too hot
3. Battery charge level low
4. When you move your car steering
5. When you are not in D or N when eco idle in works. So if u change to P or R it will turn on your engine
6. Eco idle button being press (off)

try other android phone seem the only way
do u guys notice the doors hard to close? too soft, it won't fully closed, need some extra strength fully closed like slam (then sakit hati...  )

but can be better with some throttle controller

not sure if the soundproof is still not good enough or the speaker is not good enough due to the position at the bottom.. i feel my old saga 2 speaker at the back of the rear seat produce more clear sound than my bezza which I believe because the sound is going up ? =_=  eg like I can still hear the lyrics better than in bezza .. hmm .. not sure if its just because I didnt volume up enough

I previously drove Iswara and just got the Bezza Advance. I've just got the car so I can't comment on long term feelings.

VSC along with TRC isn't really noticeable (the manual says not to drive >90km/h and no hard braking for the first 1000 km so I can't really test it) unless it kicks in and save your life. Interestingly, HSA and regenerative braking is not mentioned in the manual unless I'm missed it, someone please correct me if you find it in the manual thanks. I can say HSA only holds your car for a short while for you to put your foot on the accelerator pedal and it doesn't activate if your gear is in [R] (It functions in D4, I haven't tested 3 and 2 yet).

Overall, I suggest to go for the Advance if you want its safety features and the better interior (the leather seat isn't too bad). After driving for a few days, I feel Eco Idle isn't a major selling point but maybe the fuel savings will prove me wrong after a longer period.

Btw, does your Iswara have a problem in the morning when the engine is cold the engine will stall out even when idle? The warm up time is really slow for my Iswara.[COLOR=red]

I'm considering Advance just for safety features and electronic retractable side mirror. Tbh, I don't like leather seats coz they're super hot after parking out in the open
Wished they have a fabric seat option for the advance tho..

Not only in the morning, my Iswara has a tendency to stall or close to stalling whenever I'm idle especially during heavy traffic [COLOR=red]but I'm used to it already since the car is almost 20 years old. I wanna get a new car which is way less fuel consumption and maintenance than my current car

could be combination of both. sound deadening cuts out some (not all) noise from outside (which at low rumbling frequency, interferes with audio), and the speakers not powerful enough to overcome this noise floor.

but i think your case should sound better than stock lah. maybe marginally better.

Not sure why my Bezza security indicator light is blinking in RED once engine off, even my key is with me and before alarm armed.

but it stop once engine started.

What is the red light mean?

My bezza 1.3 advance under power when go up Paya Terubong, Penang. RPM about 3.5 but speedometer only 15-20km. What is the problem? Anyone have problem going up genting before?

Bezza sound system for me good enough.. a lot better then myvi.. if u want better for sure need to upgrade the player, speaker and add power amplifier to support high watt speaker as OEM speaker magnet are very small.. which will cost u a bomb (rough estimate rm2k+)

If only change speaker, ur player can't support the high watt and the sound will even worst then standard speaker, if u add power amplifier only scared the stock speaker will burst because of the high watt that power amplifier supply to it..
If u upgrade player with better sound processing maybe u wil get slightly better sound compare stock player..
