Guys, I have a problem with my Bezza. Cannot start, dashboard and hazard lights are blinking non stop.

Is there something to do with battery? last serviced on July 2018. I'm totally clueless

Some time is small issue, the ECU detected something wrong then won't let u start engine at all, u need call perodua centre to tow ur car to have a check.

Second option (not recommend), buy OBD2 adapter from ebay/amazon, plug in OBD2 port and diagnostic the board, then clear the error code and you are ready to start your engine. However you'll lost warranty support if you clear error code yourself. Below is the common error code.

i see.... my experience is alza 1.5 going up the genting hill road, 2nd gear (lowest it can shift to on the column), floor the throttle, and the car is still crawling slowly. Yes, i believe it should be the same for bezza gb as well. However given it enough time it should be able to go up to a higher speed. Remember, when you pass the max torque rpm you will see the engine speed shooting up but the car feels less torquey. it feels fast due to the engine roar and the low gear position, but it wasn't nimble.

for E-AT gearbox, you need to floor it to tell the gearbox to downshift, else it will really happily staying as top gear as it could be. i don't deny the gearbox wasn't that efficient at all (maybe).

i personally don't agree to erase the error code on our own when the car is still under warranty. And i concur your thoughts that sc will void your warranty if they find out you clear the error code. They able to know.

My experience is the TRC action light is ON, Eco Idle Off light Blinking, Check Engine Light ON, no aircond cooling, but then the car is driveable and it can be started. After a restart, TRC light OFF, ECo Idle Off Light stops blinking. Only Check Engine Light ON, another restart after 2 hours, nothing on the dahsboard, but the error code is still there. I scan it with OBD reader and the trouble pointed to some possible loose connection, i send it to sc and it took them half day to nail the problem.

A word of advise, do follow the proper starting procedure regardless you are key start or push start, in owners manual it is clearly stated these steps, ACC --> ON (wait until last warning light off i.e the airbag light) --> START. The mechanic in SC challenges me stating i didn't follow the correct starting procedure (in fact i always follow three steps procedure), i told him, no such thing. he keep quiet.

Dear Sifu-sifu,

Back to my previous posting on poor bezza aircond performance, has anyone tried to install one of those auxiliary fans to improve the speed for the cabin to be cooled on other perodua car models? Did it work?

Also, by any chance if it does work, how many inches of the fan should I buy?

Thanks.

i read back you have added 50% tint.

not sure why yours hard to cool down. Mine brown color with black roof sticker and stock tint.
I just adjust the temperature and 3rd fan. within 5 minute can cold.

Anyone have problems starting the bezza? Few days ago my bezza cannot start. Can here the cranking sound but then stop. Lots of warning lights all show. End up need to tow the car to perodua service center.

Have the same issue.

Less than 1 year,
Mileage less than 10K,
Premium X 1.3

Car randomly cannot start, towed to SC, they reset computer, said no problem but could not find the issue.

Months down the line (IE: today)

Same issue again.

Perodua towing wants to charge Rm200 plus to tow to SC.

Whole family ended up walking back home.

This is the kind of quality we have lol

The tow should be free if your car under warranty for what I know.

I hear you. By 5 minute can cold, do you mean a bit of cold air starts to circulate?

I think the position of the fan also plays a role and the distance of the condenser and radiator have an impact on the cooling speed.

Under a hot weather and setting the blower to 4 and temp to the max, the pipes get super hot, but no cool air.....

dont expect to be like indoor daikin aircond cold. Its at the level where its comfortable cool.
Blower to 4 is a bit too fast, only wind not cold air. To me, 3 just nice.

Even honda toyota japanese cars wasn't original design for hot weather.
Best air cond is proton.

Now about 30K on odometer.

Confirmed with local SC, called the 1800 care assist number also same story. Need to pay.

Car only towed once previously.

Hope they change the battery then. How much are the batteries generally? What model?

not sure, you need to google or check your manual book. i think its Ns40zl
dont ask perodua to change. change yourself outside. using 3rd party battery wont void warranty.

consider a consumer tribunal action towards perodua. need to stir fry it or else perodua will only keep on sidelining us

Force them to 1 to 1 exchange, change everything if possible, change chassis if possible.

Do keep us up to date.

I started to think the issue might not be the aircond, more of personnel preference.
Just want to know the main issue here.

Is there any Car that u have sit in that actually feels cool to you under hot sun?
Do you sweat at all when on aircond lowest temp?

For my current situation, the air will be cooled within 5min but if the skin is under direct sunlight i will still feel heat on the skin.
Which is normal, since its the problem with ori tint doesnt have much sun blocking.
