QUOTE(singk @ Jun 28 2018, 09:47 AM)
driving parameter:
1. always traffic jam?
2. like you said, always have short distance drive?
3. tyre pressure, got check?
4. do you have similiar issue with other petrol brand when you switch to it?
5. aircond always full blast?
6. always going up slope?

usually it will take some time for a car to get use to the petrol especially when you switching brands, my house 2006 myvi was pumping petronas and the fc is used to be good, when the first tank of bhp fuel pour in, the fc get worse. it can do 12km per liter on petronas, haven't got the result for bhp fuel.
*
1. always traffic jam? YES but not more than 30 minutes per day
2. like you said, always have short distance drive? ( YES , 35 KM consider short ??? )
3. tyre pressure, got check? ( confirm good )
4. do you have similiar issue with other petrol brand when you switch to it? ( Slightly better when try SHELL )
5. aircond always full blast? ( always at minimum level )
6. always going up slope? ( rarely )

But i feel my FC is not really good , on the meter showing about 17km/liter only

QUOTE(hddexpreso @ Jun 28 2018, 10:47 AM)
Fuel consumption is greatly effected by the way you drive, your car load, tyre pressure  and the road condition. Nothing much have to do with fuel brand or ron 95 or ron 97.
*
well , it depend on brand too , if not what is the reason we have many many different company of petrol like BHP , petrol , petronas , shell .. etc .. they must be different ..

Yes you are right but it will not give you extraordinary millage diffrence. All is marketing. The base still using the same stuff the only difference is the additive they use in their solution. If your car is new the fuel consumption will be abit low as new engine need time to break in. Once you pass the first oil change the fuel consumption should be better.

apa la...... 17km per liter still wanna complain meh? 35km driving distance not consider short trip adi lo.

i agree that different brand of fuel will able to give different level of performance, anyway it shouldn't be a huge difference anyway. you may try and observe which brand your car suits the best.

AVG is calculated based on km travelled vs petrol consumption.. so u can't hang up the car n run (i know u joking), coz no km been travelled..

It is possible with highyway and you can get more. For town use average is 15-17Km/l
You can refer back to my previous trip in below post.

QUOTE(hddexpreso @ May 14 2018, 09:43 PM)
Yes highway if you drive below 110km/h. From penang to Melaka with 2 adult and 2 luggage bag. My average is above the advertised 22km/l which is 24.7km/l.

Tyre = stock (ecopia)
Rim = stock
Bodykit = stock
Anti roll bar = not install
Basically all is stock except i do install internal TPMS. Tyre PSI acording to recommendation which is 36PSI or 250kpa. Good tyre pressure means better fuel saving. Also don't forget the way you drive impact alot on the fuel consumption. My tips is try to step on the break less frequently and try to cruise as long as you can, you can see amazing result no matter what car you are driving.

Less break + long cruise = less unessary exceleration = great fuel saving

So if we are travelling, say from Ipoh to Perlis, there are any diff if using Ron 95 or 97?
*
yea no harm to try on ron97 thumbup.gif , especially if you go outstation on highway, it's better for long distance, if urban distance better stick to ron95 as traffic congested most of the time and the same amount of fuel consumption no matter 95/97, you cannot see the different much sweat.gif

If what you mentioned earlier is correct. Then 17km/l is an error from the reader already.

RM 100 for RON 95 is about 45liter only.
So its about 10km/l if calculate for RM 100 450KM.

Wow it’s been 6 months since I’ve been back to this forum. Nice to see the discussions still going on. Guys, I’m no longer a Bezza owner, I sadly sold mine away because I had to move back to Singapore. So if anyone wants to start and maintain a V4 of the Bezza thread, then let me know and I can provide the base material for you to start it up. Just PM. Thanks for the ride, guys and gals.

2 scenario:
1. assume he/she is talking about 2x RM50 fill up and only travel 450km, then we can say that meter reading is really wrong.
2. if every fill up able to travel 450km, the meter reading is 17km/l, then this fella is saying the wrong thing. Because we being deceive that 2xRM50 and only travel 450km. in actual it is 450km distance per fill up. by typing wrong thing it makes us thinks wrongly. tongue.gif

Hi,

I'm planning to get the premium x variance in August to take advantage of the no GST period. This will be my first car, so just want to be absolutely sure. So, please do share with me your experiences and anything to look out for in owning this model.

I'm looking at the saga as well, but not really keen since it is a proton.

Not too keen on the myvi, prefer a sedan. My budget is around 40k, so can't really look into other brands.

I want to gather as much information before making the purchase. So, your advice is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

If you are keen to get a car, order now, proceed now. What I am worried is that if your car availability is low and you cannot settle everything by August, your car will be having SST. What I heard is that the new Myvi has 3 months waiting time. Even if you book now the you cannot enjoy the 0% GST, 0% SST.

I heard that once you do the paperwork and all, and if the car is delivered in September/once SST kicks in, they will have to honour the 0% gst rate.
