I love it a lot, just like back during the days of Mario Sunshine. Platformer evolved.

I just wanna play Mario U Deluxe... all other games don't really pique my interest... I did so 3 years back when BoTW was released. I've no background on Zelda or any other Nintendo games or own any Nintendo consoles before. Saw BoTW pre release review / play-through and got hooked to it cause I like open world sandbox games. Until today, I've bought DLCs for it and Hyrule Warrior: Age of Calamity Other than that I have XC2 only. One hand can count all the games I have after <3 years.

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Jul 4 2021, 11:02 AM) I come from Mario of the late 80s early 90s... Same but that does not mean you should not play any newer one's. If you already investes 1k+ for a Switch might as well try some more games. You can buy 2nd hand for cheaper price and sell them back at the price you bought if you didn't like them, not an issue. Most who do enjoy Mario from the NES and SNES would also enjoy Mario 64 from the Nintendo 64 system, Mario Sunshine from the Gamecube, and so on.

We're in the 21st century, and still have region lock like DVDs...? This post has been edited by Eithanius: Jul 4 2021, 06:48 PM

QUOTE(coldbasecamp @ Jul 5 2021, 08:21 AM) at first I thought Animal Crossing was an easy game, until I see all the game mechanics and rules posted by others on web. Rule of thumb is not to read and just enjoy the game as it is. Otherwise you are just spoiling yourself and the fun! Animal Crossing a family friendly, kid friendly game. So it's ok. It's just a relaxing game no worries.

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Jul 4 2021, 06:48 PM) same question here also... if i set my region to US, does that mean I can only buy physical games that is US version only, or can I mix and match US with EU or AU or Asian version...? We're in the 21st century, and still have region lock like DVDs...? Games are not region locked. You can buy any physical games of any region and play on your switch account. The only issue is that DLC/Expansion are region locked but not for all games. Example, lets say you have a US account and bought a physical game that is EU region. You can play the game no issue with your US account, but when you want to download the DLC/Expansion pack you might have to use a EU region account to download those dlc/expansion. Quick fix is just to have another account from another region, to download/purchase that dlc, and you can still get the content and play it on your US regional account no problem. Games bought from another account can be played in another account as well, as long as it's on the same console. As long as you aren't sharing your account with other people, there should not be a problem.

Best region is north america as they have the most sales and most parallel seller.
Jpn account will allow you to access some niche titles.
