Ya I only saw news that migrating data will be a feature coming by the end of the year. It's honestly stupid how cloud saves work with Nintendo, ridiculous that some games dont support it (like AC). I'm not gonna start a new island again, either just stop playing AC or dont buy new switch lol

Is MY shortage due to Japan & China low production also then? Since China don't produce for western, SEA is the one badly hit by their low production?

I mean really depends on you. Starting a new island wouldnt be that bad since you can transfer stuff from your old island. Only pain in the ass part would be the terraforming part i guess.

the thought of having to spend another few days to terraform and move villagers house here and there makes me want to vomit ady

China factory also do US and EU production set but limit to where Malaysia factory do production solely for US and EU market.
Due to 'high keras' Made In Malaysia tag.
China shipped their switch production set almost every country in the map. Haha.

Fun fact. Did you know the most commom problem for switch in production line?

there is an option to transfer user and save data between Nintendo Switch systems (since version 4.x firmware i think)

just need to follow the steps and requirements to transfer accordingly (and of course both source and target Switch systems need to be at hand)

Does not work for New Horizons. Nintendo developing a different solution for it for save backup and transfer in the future. Basically they don't want people duplicating items in game, but end up having duplication bug on release anyway lol

ok. sorry i didn't know AC New Horizons had this specific issue but it's kinda surprising if this is related to duplication as the system transfer option is suppose to move (vs copy) a profile completely from one system to another

Not sure since i've never done it myself, but I heard back in New Leaf, people do it quite often.

the solution is coming by 'the end of the year' whenever that is, could be 31st December 2020 for all i know
I just want to be able to play on two consoles

Your TG came pre-applied?

If its a TG, just remove it. You can still use it without TG, just don't dock it. Use the cable to charge until your new TG arrives.
