Well it's Maxsoft who is selling it at the price so yeah blame them tbh. No shop will get any profit if they sell at the same price. I'm comparing it because they force you to pay that much with a game and two amiibos. That's like worse then paying 150 extra, I guess that's too hard to understand.

I guess it's too hard to understand that everyone has a choice. Not everyone is forced to buy. If I see that it's RM150 or RM2K with all the random bundles, one could choose to wait until the next offer comes along instead of shutting off other people's complain because someone is supposedly 'forced' to pay more. No, the shop puts up the package. The consumer can choose to buy or to wait; not blame the shop that 'i am forced to pay more' when one has made a conscious decision to pay that RM2K; or to tell people not to complain because "hey, I was forced to pay more a year ago". Nope. we all had a choice to buy or not, and someone decided to fork out the money.

I guess that's too hard to understand.

Wait for old stock to clear. Then the new improved one will most likely be at the same price. Till then it will be more expensive.

Will be interesting to see how much Switch Lite price is as well

The prices were set by the seller. Avari sell at RM1299 & RM1199. Once old stocks clear. Price of new improved will be adjusted accordingly.

Sorry if been discussed before, just want to share some feedback about 2 accessories I bought for my Switch:

1) UGreen USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter. Works like a charm, can get 98 Mb/s. My 5 GHz wifi can only get 68 Mb/s

2) Genki Bluetooth adapter, also works really well, currently connected to my bluetooth PC speakers in docked mode

Can't blame them.

They need to clear leftover stocks, so if they are priced the same, nobody is going to buy the leftover ones and Maxsoft can't return it Nintendo for sure and they don't plan to reduce their profit margin so they just mark up the newer ones until the stock depletes.

Normally we register US region account. For eshop as well. No Malaysian region in switch

1) Read here that I need to get foreign country account to buy digital games. Does it mean I can open both US + Mexico and they are still tied to 1 user? Or how does it work?

Awesome, I ditched my full fledge console for the Switch because of my schedule, I can just turn it on and play a quick round of games and move on to other things in life lol.

The accounts from any countries are fine - just depending on the preference of games that you play. For example, Japan account - you can access to Japan-exclusives, while US accounts are mainly to purchase game because you can't access the store via a Malaysian account (not available). I'm not sure if US prices are cheaper than the Europe ones, but I am using a US and JP account. You can have multiple accounts in one Switch - even when you open the store, it will ask which account you want to access the store with - same goes with the games as well. No worries.

All Switch comes with a dock - just connect it via HDMI and you're good to go (monitor has to have HDMI). I am using Xiaomi's powerbank to charge - no issues on which powerbank works or what not for me.

Memory card - I assume you will get the SDXC (>32GB) and at least a UHS-1 support with a decent write speed will do.

So let's say I buy game A on US account, and game B on JP account...
When I turn on the switch console, if I login to US account, I can't play game B? Need to relogin to JP account instead?

From my experience you can still play on either account - no problems at all.

I usually purchase games using my US account and play with my MY account (main game account).

There is no region lock within the same Switch console. Both games can play in both account. Including DLC purchase with US/JP/etc, works on both account. However it means you will have two separate save game files with different progress.

What I do is, which ever account I purchase from, I always start the game in one of my main account (e.g. US), not necessary the account I purchase from.
