I have my/sg set and I can setup eshop regions just fine. 3 account for US, EU and Jap eshops.

Games are not region lock. I can play EU game(mario rabid kingdom) just fine on my switch. Just for the expansion I have to redeem it on EU eshop. Then the expansion is playable on all region account.

It's great as a handheld and greater if you love the games. Addicted to botw, thr things you can do in the game is amazing. Just note that the battery life during handheld is around 3 hours, might be less if you play games like botw.

So you might want to get a powerbank.

To be honest I have no idea what to look for powerbank for switch. Have no need for one right now. There is a one made for switch sold on impulse gaming. I think it is anker brand.

Second hand is fine since it has been a while since release. It is a great game. Tons of things to do if you love open world ganr.

It wouldn't hurt to get a big sd card right away.

hey guys just bought a switch recently and started playing zelda and after awhile i noticed the fan running quite loud and heat coming out from the heat sink, is it normal? i mean it's almost as loud as the game sound haha.. even tho dual speaker but my mid range phone's audio still beats it in terms of loudness.

It is pretty loud yes, especially for high demanding games like Zelda for example. Not all games at least. Yes earphone or headphone would help I guess. But for me personally haven't notice the game sound being as loud as the game in full volume in handheld mode. Tv mode could be even louder btw

Please dont buy cheap PB for your switch. It will not be able to charge and play at the same time or worse, nuke your switch.

I use this Anker A1275 which is compliant to PD (Power Delivery) standard, needed for your Switch. It is basically the same model used by official Nintendo PB. But Nintendo's model is more expensive (and it is only 10,000 Mah, i think). Havent see the equivalent 20100Mah for Nintendo's Official PB here.

Anyway, this is one item you dont want to skimp on price.

If you can find home button spare part...but so far i have seen, only the Analog stick spare parts. But maybe you can try dismantle it and check the button. Then use a WD40 Dry Contact Cleaner, spray the hell out of it and hopes miracle happens. It works for analog drifting stick...but buttons i dont know...but hey we all knows about WD40 legends....there is nothing it can't fix! (A bottle of WD40 Dry contact cleaner is about RM 2x on Lazada).

I think charging it while playing makes it hot thus fan works harder. Realize the screen abit yellow compared to smartphone maybe cuz using lcd?

So far loving the switch but i feel like the joycon quite soft, wouldnt last very long if i used it like how i play fps on ps3. Need to press the joycon softly like carrasing the gspot... must be gentle.... Haha

Regular smartphone charger can charge the switch?
