I don't have a switch now, but eyeing on one. Let's say I get my unit here but I ask my sis to purchase the games from JP, will the language be locked to Japanese only?

Or the games are cheaper here?

Games are not cheap. Get physical copy. You may sell back once you are bored with the game. Kindly join Nintendo Switch Malaysia Group in Facebook. Some of the members are selling 2nd hand copies.

I think many are getting second hand copies due to the price factor. Saves are kept on the device itself.
