By Pro, I mean this:
http://www.impulse.com.my/8bitdo-fc30-pro-...ml?keyword=fc30The 8Bitdo controller have a normal version and the Pro version, and of course, the Pro version has the standard buttons:
-
http://www.8bitdo.com/nes30-fc30/ (NOT Pro)
-
http://www.8bitdo.com/nes30pro-fc30pro/ (Pro)
The interesting thing here is the 8Bitdo controller is apparently compatible with the Nintendo Switch in addition to PCs and Mobile after a firmware update (from what I heard), hence it's found in the Nintendo Switch products list. That is what I meant by the Pro controller. Sorry if it's not clear.
Thank you for reading.
@winstein
I'm thinking of grabbing a couple of these controllers as well!
Joy-Con - Expensive @ RM350 each
- has motion control & amiibo support
- official support from nintendo
- less comfortable than Pro Controller, though the grip makes it a bit better
- can play 2 players for simple games like Bomberman R, Mario Kart etc
- not optimised for 2 player for games like Minecraft, Splatoon, FIFA, NBA due to limited buttons
8bitdo FC30 / NES30 Pro- Only RM 115 each
https://shopee.com.my/8Bitdo-FC30-PRO-Wirel...78184.141157778- does not have motion control & amiibo support
- more comfortable than Joy-Con, less comfortable than Pro Controller
- may get patched by nintendo in the future?
- Support android/ios/windows/mac/switch
I mean, I could buy 3 of 8bitdo FC30 Pro controller for the price of 1 joy-con and i don't really care about amiibo & motion control support for these as extra controllers
edit: nvm, contacted the shopee seller, its not original. if im gonna get one, ill get from impulse @rm149
edit 2: 8bitdo announced new controllers: The SNES30 Pro/SFC30 Pro features wireless bluetooth, USB-C, rumble vibration, & motion controls. Coming holiday 2017 (https://twitter.com/8bitdo/status/874704733197410305)
