If switch to MBB FCB VS, should be entitled for the 2% as well? since there is no restriction on the cashback categories.

updated my direct debit to new mbb card, simply because month of may and august can get 10% instead of just 2...hahahha

Cash Rebate is deemed useless after 1 Nov 2017; I will probably keep it inside my drawer.

Yup, I've switched mine over as well for the same reason and this month's bill has been charged to the card. Now just have to wait till 1st Nov to see if the 2% is indeed credited smile.gif

what other cards do you have?

maybe get other cards with unlimited cb, usually at 1% or lower, that gives you about RM100 cashback. then BT to Maybank or other banks with 0% to improve your cashflow.

new card from maybank, FC Barcelona Visa Signature, has 2% (capped RM50) and 10% (capped RM100 on May/Aug only).

alternatively, you can use any PBB cards to utilize FlexiPay, whereby using PBB cards have 0% 9mth instalments or PBB Quantum have 0% 12mth instalments. basically, you swipe RM10k for the downpayment, then call PBB CS to convert the single transaction into 9 or 12 instalments (depending on which PBB cards u use).

this is particularly good when you spending big item when moving house, e.g. buy electrical items, furnitures, kitchen cabinet, etc.

or just use the BT methods. PBB has 0% 6mth BT with min RM2k transfer.
