application for VS rejected due to unknown reason. im quite curious why since my salary clearly surpass the requirement and im convinced that my records are fairly clean.

maybe they see the trend that i always pay on time, so no business for them there. haha

You mean bank prefers bad loan payer to on time loan payer?

yeah, for cc i guess. cannot charge late payment interest and have to give cashback every month. well thats my opinion.

Paid on time for my other cards too, no problem applying vs last july.

Interested to know what could be the reason.

big spender helped banks earn a lot of transaction fees. I don't see prompt payment being an issue here.

well not gonna get an answer i guess, even called and emailed the cs they wont could not give me a definite answer.

For the Quantum cards. Does auto billing for phone, tnb and insurance counts as online spend? Want to know if it works before I move all the bills to this card

Lazada KUALA LUMPUR MYS didn't get cash back for purchase paid with Quantum Mastercard.
Emailed CS and was informed cash back will be credited to my account once PBB irons out the issue with Lazada.

Damned pbb.. applied for vs thru ringgitplus.. but sent me visa platinum.. what the hell..

haha. maybe easier to change credit card rather than rejected and apply again.

Should apply thru branch. PB branch manager and officers have their target to meet. They will work hard to get new applications approved.

Didn't know they will play this kind of tricks.. means I can't reapply the vs now? Need to wait how long more to apply?

Got rejected for the 3rd time in 1.5~years.

You received platinum card(s) right? So you are on board, don't cancel the VP.
If I am not wrong, minimum credit limit for VS is RM30k.
So if you get the VP with Credit limit >RM30k, accept and use the VP and then ask for additional card - VS.
If credit limit is less than RM30k, accept VP first and then ask for Quantum (as additional cards) or request for increase of credit limit (+VS).
