Just sent my application for Visa Signature on Monday. How long does it take for PBB officer to contact me?

I submit my application (form & required attachment) on Monday night. Received SMS this morning that the card has been approved. Quite fast.

That's fast. You are an existing PB card holder?
*
This is my first PB card. Coming from HSBC & OCBC where the cashback deals are no longer attractive.

Just received my card yesterday & activate the PIN via phone.

About the registration of PBe online, need to go to PB branch to get the temporary username/password? I tried to register directly on the website but encountered error message after key in TAC/PAC number

Normal 5%/6% online cashback, most likely yes. 5x/8x game, not qualify.

Just got my PBB VS. What's wrong with PBB website? I think it's the worst ever for a bank. I couldn't even find the link to register my PBe banking. I had to get the link from this page. When I use that link from this page, I couldn't register pulak! Keep getting "Unable to register User ID" Called helpline, they couldn't do anything at all. Just say maybe system error. doh.gif

Got my card last week & this baffled me too but later figured it out that just need to get the temporary username/password at ATM machine or walk in to branch.
Use that to register at PBE website.

Hi there. Thanks for the input. You mean you use the credit card to get temporary username and password at ATM machine? Do you have existing savings/current account with PBB? I heard only those with savings/current account with PBB can do that.
*
1. Yes, correct. You have to create a temporary 6 digit pin & they will assign temporary username for you to register PBe online later on. A slip will be generated from the ATM.
2. No, I don't have savings/current account with PBB.
3. They will send PAC/TAC number sms as part of security measure during online registration.

Huh? If you don't have any account with pbb, then you should be able to just register using the link from page 1 of this thread. I do have joint account with my mom but not personal one. I can register without needing to go to their ATM to generate whatever pin.

Dunno man. I tried few times but error message comes out once I click submit (after key in PAC number). I did post about this few pages back but no one answered.

My first Visa Sig bill coming up tomorrow. I still haven't received RM200 Lazada Voucher as I applied my card via RinggitPlus. Do I need to follow up with them or just wait? What's the normal timeframe? Not sure whether I'm eligible for other freebies too.

cybpsych is right - It was mentioned probably in the previous PBVS thread regarding the loan payment.

I made it via shopee. Many were skeptical about this method but after I have tried it, it was the best way for me to make payment to get discount.

If you search in shopee, use the word "bill" as the seller does not use the word "loan" anymore, maybe it is banned from shopee. U can contact the seller to enquire further on the product.

And it is true that to earn these free money, we need to put effort every Monday including the monitoring of it to make sure we spend just enough RM833.3 per card (PBVS) to maximise the cash back.

Thanks for the info. Never knew this before. Haha

Sorry for asking this really noob question. How to discover whether this/that outlet eligible for PB cashback?
I just received my first cc bill and only the final cashback figure is stated. No breakdowns on each transaction.

U can calculate urself.. also, at the bottom of the statement, it did mentioned how much is spending eligible for cashback..
*
QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 8 2017, 08:25 PM)
track your own spending biggrin.gif refer front page for guides.

any transaction eligible for cashback, u don't get vip points.

if u get 0 vip points, all your transactions eligible cashback.

this is assuming u (try) to spend within categories but unable to tell which is which. if u whack everything with the card, you'll be having hard time finding out laugh.gif

not many banks/cards that tell each transaction eligible for cb or not. the usual ones I see is hlb wise and Mach statements.
