i still can surf with full speed.. last night the speed was terrible so i thought that it is due to my account being suspended.. i approached webe cs via their live chat and he told me that my account was suspended due to me using webe mobile on a non voice device.. this morning however it seems that the speed is back to normal

still using USB modem to surf?
or now using phone?

you got 2 SIM webe?

T&C that is straight forward is the best! Not restricted this and that! Not sincere at all Webe!

Yeah pretty sure Malaysia law system isn't sincere about protecting Malaysian as well since there are so many laws which significantly increases the difficulty to pass a law degree

What so hard to understand that webeM is for phone usage only?

Their T & C has clearly stated, no hotspot, phone usage only. blame me and most Malaysian doesn't read up fully of it.
Remember that when firstly introduced, must need to use certified phone to enjoy the discount? From 199 to 79, the subscriber must be TM user and use the certified phone

From day one which they introduced the plan, it clearly said that the plan is for phone usage and they have the right to suspend or terminate the abuser.

It was my lucky star , I already use up to 4 month with USB modem before being suspended for abuse. I think they have begin to clamp down those suspected abuser when they introduced the 3 month 1GB free hotspot

Exactly, blame myself too, even I knew this is for phone only' plan. Actually, they're​ quite lenient to not straight terminate the account and make this difficult as they can reserved the right to recover the due which I as a subscriber whom already agreed with the T&C when signing up for this plan with them.

Don't mess with TM as the big brother in Malaysia Telco.

Using webe since they launch everything is good here in Kuching.

Just waiting for the day when webe can break through the 5 Mbps over at my neighbourhood.

I think there are trying cause some of the neighborhood in Kuching reach like 20Mbps. This thread seems to be quite so it seems like webe hasn't had much issue with network. LOL

Will the webe broadband SIM work with any device that supports band 5 38/40? Cuz im on the OnePlus 3T and wondering if the SIM will work with that phone as it's not listed as a supported device

And one more thing, i checked the coverage and somehow i dont know if webe hates me or what, neighbours 3 or 4 houses (both left and right) away are covered, we (houses in this 50metre radius) are like an island in the middle of the ocean of webe broadband coverage. So i need to ask will webe broadband work outside of coverage area?

if can detect 50211 / 502153 every time doing manual scan indoor, u place under coverage.
my place can get coverage even outside coverage zone map. LTE Band 5 5km from tower signal is ok as long tower not congested

Using mobile. I'm at Jalan Song too everyday it seems fine without any issue. Just don't expect the seed to be blazing fast but it's just enough to use daily. YouTube , Facebook without any issues.
