Looks like  webe has ways to detect their users using USB-modem n has started taking actions.

Some users has complained their accounts was suspended for this reason. Wonder those who using other tricks got suspended too.

This one i just order. today arrived. Before this using old modem but speed only 3g.

What so hard to understand that webeM is for phone usage only?

Their T & C has clearly stated, no hotspot, phone usage only. blame me and most Malaysian doesn't read up fully of it.
Remember that when firstly introduced, must need to use certified phone to enjoy the discount?  From 199 to 79, the subscriber must be TM user and use the certified phone

From day one which they introduced the plan, it clearly said that the plan is for phone usage and they have the right to suspend or terminate the abuser.

It was my lucky star , I already use up to 4 month with USB modem before being suspended for abuse. I think they have begin to clamp down those suspected abuser when they introduced the 3 month 1GB free hotspot

Hoping that webe will be bit generous with free tethering 3-5gb per month would do. Umobile 78 offers 10gb free tethering but line is so unstable.

Before Webe, did anyone use mobile internet for download or watching hd videos? May be Webe need to rephrase the "unlimited" word. Should be unlimited for normal mobile internet usage.

In my case they said because of mass SMS sent, which I really didnt do, thats why the officer from comm of oath suggest me to do police report.

Webe is for people who want freedom to use their smartphone. Not for people to do hanky panky stuff like using it for laptop and other stuff.

If you don't like it, please go to other Telco. Your kind is not welcome in Webe.

Normal Webe user will be more happy because less scum like you to slow down the Webe network.
