Can anyone let me know from the stats whether my cable support for Unifi Lite? I actually in dire need for a better upload speed...huhu

If you look purely from the stats, quite a number of us can get even 20Mbps of download speed and 1Mbps (ADSL2+ bottleneck) of upload which TM doesn't want to offer. UniFi Lite support depends on whether your local cabinet supports it, and the most importantly, whether TM wants to offer it.

OIC...means my cabinet can only handle max 20mb download and 1mb upload right? okay then...I just wanna make sure before I make pointless move wasting my time going to TM Point or Agents applying for unifi end up hearing that my cabinet did not support it...

For the time being, only Kelantanese are successfully installed and activate their unifi Lite and it's via VDSL. Other state, still waiting... Perak? Much worse... nothing! sad.gif
I'm quite shocked when I saw one agent ads in FB, he claimed that Jeli and Gua Musang area are ready for installation. Maybe Tok Pa punya area kot. That's why special treatment given.

Yes, but that's the case for ADSL2+ only, so that doesn't mean your cabinet doesn't support VDSL and UniFi Lite is unavailable. Please do check with an agent or your local TM Point to confirm, or just contact their Facebook/Twitter/Call 100 sales department since only them have the exact list.

Is the RM1 for phone line rental or is it for detailed bill for your fixed line?

You can still make calls but it will be chargeable according to TM rates.

If addon Voice STD20, the new number will have 600 minutes of STD calls n unlimited free calls to TM fixlines. So u use old number to receive call only as every call is chargable.

u means TM still not going to make the old numbers as VOIP, such a waste.

i can understand it's easy for fibre + copper but how the setup of VDSL user?
*
Yes, it is just impossible to port ver old numebr as VOIP. Not sure about VDSL tho, i dont think so can port over.

RM1 = butir lengkap panggilan STD. phone line rental of RM25 is waived.

What he mean is that since any usage is chargeable, he will just use the old number for receiving calls, since its free. Of course you can still make calls on that number, but that will be chargeable.

not exactly, from the modem stats itself the max attainable speed is pre calculated from your line attennuation+SNR. it is a firmware based calculation in the modem itself. in my case, modem showed attainable speed about 25 mbps +++ with relatively high SNR + low line attenuation. but the cabinet I'm connected to cannot support more than 8mbps. so the modem cannot know what the max speed your cabinet support, but can estimate the max speed support based on the SNR+line attenuation
