not cheap oh... and not that easy to find in most shops...
actually the AD07s are not that bad in wet... maybe in the extreme wets where there are deep standing water it suffers a bit lar... but it still should perform well in both dry and wet conditions as it is still meant for street and not competition use...

i didn't have much tyres that last me long enough.. my current set is a el-cheapo Continental Comfort Contact... bought around same time now last year and going to change soon... the kevlar going to pop out soon... roughly 14000KMs... did not rotate front and rear... just left and right once every 2 or 3 months... if i did front and rear... i will need to change the whole 2 pairs in another half a year or so... now i am only changing 1 pair...

noise level considered ok
grip so-so (dry)
grip considered not ideal for many (wet)
price - cheap
value for money - excellent (at least for me tongue.gif )

Yeah, my F1 is also very noisy, cannot tahan oso.  laugh.gif Wanna do sound proof ad.

If dry both r equally good, then get F1 better as it is cheaper.  drool.gif

Some of the tyres i used before, icon_rolleyes.gif

Advan Neova AD07 price per pc 195/50/15, Rm250
Yokohama A Drive 195/50/15, Rm180
Bridgestone MY-01 195/50/15, Rm165

AD07, slippery during heavy rain and fast hard cornering

A Drive, still ok for normal highway driving or minor racing at highway

MY-01, cheap and reliable with daily road usage

Try giving Falken Ziex 912 (latest thread design) that's going for RM180-190 (195/55/15) in Klang Valley tyre shops. It's made in Thailand & very silent as well..... even more silent compared to Continental Comfort Contact.

Performance not bad for me after tested for bout 2000km since new. Reasonable priced tyres with above-average performance level suitable for daily driving style with some spirited driving once in a while. U'll know what's the tyres' limit once tried running with it. smile.gif

I would recommend Hankook V8-RS, RM159 each with your tyre traded in (Tek Ming) other places are normally around RM170~180 (where I had survey lah..not sure all other place)..

Silent = OK
Grip on dry and wet....based on my definition of grippy lah.... not sure how grip is your grippy smile.gif

basically this is a cheap, grip and quite silent tyre...tested for 9000km front, 2000km rear...

Any tyre recommendations for 205/45/16? Ive been looking for it but dont know which tyre is good yet pricing is reasonable enough. My budget is around RM200 per piece!:D

So far, there's a shop in Subang quoted me Silverstone Synergy M5 for RM210 per piece.

I use BFGoodrich G-Force Sport 195/50/R15 on my Iswara. Try Toyo T1R once, after a while I changed back to BF, never will changed to other brand, except for Yoko Neova or Potenza biggrin.gif

ok since u guys all comment on performance tyre, then i give a review on hankook XQ optimo that currently using on my car..

Size: 205-50-16

Dry road: reasonable grip that let me speeding @ 140-160 on karak highway. for unknown reason, the tyre should not be using with stop-go condition. it doesn grip much on watever cement. everytime wheel spin on the way coming out from condo. but on tarmac it's ok...the screeching sound are crispy and clear...like my tweet..lolz

Wet road: traction is good, can maintain the driving line at high speed..but dun expect to perform stunt

Performance: i will give it 5/10

Comfortness: 8/10

Quietness: 8/10

Price: RM250

Dry: Good but bit noisy
Wet: Good too
Performance: 7/10
Comfortness : 8/10
Quietness: 3/10
price: RM185
Why change? sidewall too soft...i will damage the sidewall if i keep using it for another month with my cornering skills. only used for a few weeks then sold it off..ahah

Anyone has any idea when is F1 Asymmetric available? From oversea's review, it seems to be very good, better than GSD3 as it is suppose to replace gsd3 oso.

What is Goodyear Assurance?
