Bought my car in 2005, Civic EJ, comes with Hankook Ventus HRII on all 4..

2005
Tyre : Hankook Ventus HRII
Size : 205/45/16
Comments : Good grips, acceptable level of noise.

2006, changed two front Hankook with Silverstone FTZ Evol8 (got 2nd tyre, 99% thread @ RM180 for two-piece , a steal for me cos short of money..
2006 : Silverstone FTZ Evol8
Size : 205/45/16
Comments : good grips, a bit noisy despite the so call beta silica to reduce noise. Good grip on rainy roads. Thread rating : 280 sad.gif

2007
- Changed the front FTZ to rear and bought new
Tyre : Dunlop Formula D
Size : 205/45/16
Price : RM225 each
Comments : Lower level of noise. Good grips. Thread rating 420!!!

Synergy M5 is quiet and very light (explains why it is cost saving). Not sure its rating though...

What tyre is grippy on dry and okok silent? My GY GSD3 damn noisy,..
*
I would recommend Hankook V8-RS, RM159 each with your tyre traded in (Tek Ming) other places are normally around RM170~180 (where I had survey lah..not sure all other place)..

Silent = OK
Grip on dry and wet....based on my definition of grippy lah.... not sure how grip is your grippy smile.gif

basically this is a cheap, grip and quite silent tyre...tested for 9000km front, 2000km rear...

for the sake of others (including me) can share where u got 135/pc for ZE 912, since it seemed everyone is choosing it as best budget/performance/noise tyre. my azenis requires replacement soon sad.gif
