QUOTE(spikyz @ Jun 1 2017, 11:03 AM) guys, another newbie question. To trade e.g. Have your bitcoin exchanged into alt coins you would have to pick an exchange i just installed multibit to stored the bitcoin. however this is some sort of offline wallet right? to purchase btc , ltc or eth. i need coinbase for trading? after purchase then only i transfer it to my multibit? does it work that way? or i can share my wallet address straight multibit to other users? i dont need coinbase? List of top exchanges based on trading volume https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ Basically from Multibit you put in the btc address given by the exchange as seen in your account, have it sent and confirmed (this may take some time) so the balance would then appear in your exchange account Then buy whatever mETH you want wanted at the prevailing market rate and have it transferred out to your wallet again. I think multibit supports only bitcoin Alternatively you can check out ShapeShift This post has been edited by b0rhui: Jun 1 2017, 11:21 AM |

QUOTE(hjffgjng @ Jun 1 2017, 11:33 AM) Yes if you buy from Luno , they will credit to your Luno Wallet directly, I dont think it will take a long time to reflect the BTC on your Luno wallet. Then you may just proceed to send the BTC to the exchanges. |

QUOTE(howszat @ Jun 1 2017, 12:20 AM) Aiya, why so dishonest? I never said anything about making profits only. totally valid question. My questions were about how it relates to economy and GDP. QUOTE(howszat @ May 31 2017, 11:57 PM) In a FBI thread, I get a seriously technical answer which bears no resemblance to how the real world works. maybe blockchain is like a new type of 'land', a platform for dapp, currently speculative in nature as there are not yet many dapp that has YET to replaced that conventional systems that we all used to it. The 'land' can rise in value only there are many developers that build LIVABLE houses (app) on it. The potential only can grow when there are more and more disruptive dapp running on it, which is what i have been looking forward to see any evidence that point to that trend. If anyone spot it please share.Do you know what GDP means? Do you know what interest rate means? Do you know why and how foreign reserves work how and why. How a blockchain miner gets what, you tell me how that relates to Finance, Business and Investment? This post has been edited by lowya: Jun 1 2017, 12:16 PM |

QUOTE(Chelsea-Fan @ Jun 1 2017, 01:02 PM) Hehe, my term for buying discounted coins when the market is down i.e. Deep sea fishing, usually when the coins drop into negative 20-30% territory.Recently bought XRP, Clams, GNT, SC, XEM and BTM because they were red. Oh ya, I only play with the coins that I am holding. QUOTE(raynman @ Jun 1 2017, 01:05 PM) Haha, good one! This post has been edited by kmarc: Jun 1 2017, 01:24 PM |
