wengherng Can you kindly add this part to our guide, under "How to buy cryptocurrencies (bitcoins and altcoins) in Malaysia (using MYR)?". The last part after mentioning all the available exchanges. Thx!

Important : In order to get the best BTC price, it is recommended that you check out the prices on all 4 BTC/MYR exchanges. For today, Localbitcoins and Remitano prices are too high. Xbit Asia lower but the best price is at Luno. The only problem with Xbit and Luno is you need to login/sign up to see BTC market details and you need to transferred money to the exchange's bank account which will only be reflected in your account after they have processed it.

I think it's also worth noting to those who work/study/reside in Singapore that they have direct access to ETH via Coinbase and Gemini. I don't think polo deserve the amount of ETH volume with their shady practices.

Less slippage the better.

Luno is great. I deposit money and usually they will show in my account in 15 mins

Nice to hear that. Now weekend so I won't be able to do anything on Luno even if I sign up today. sad.gif

It's too late for any significant buy now.

However, the best part about golem is resource sharing and passive income, all gaming PCs across the globe can earn GNT by helping artists and scientists to render data.

Best bet is still ETH, just buy frequently with small amounts now, it could reach $100 or $60 next week.

Made my first triple digit weekly buys.

S$101 an ETH, ouch

For someone with zero stake in Ethereum, better focus on pushing segwit bah.

Ethereum is eating bitcoin alive, and believe it or not, I rather have two competing Blockchains rather than one.

I also fed up reading antbleed and other nonsense saga while seeing mempool being mempool for years.

Aha... Telling me not to follow ETH debate but yourself know abt antbleed.

Just bcse Im a purist, I have to ignore the rest? Not good enough to convince me to go ETH.

Not gonna push anything. Its nice to see segwit implemented but again it is optional even for users.

At this point, Im not sure why you keep saying Btc is competing only with ETH. Apple and orange. biggrin.gif

We're closing in on $35 billion crypto cap, with Bitcoin "dominance" sitting at 61.8%. Record breaking low

Coin.dance still showing stalemate between both faction, you have to agree all of this is harmful for Bitcoin.

Shouldn't you like, diversify or something? I check on BTC coz I want to park my wealth on it, looking at current events it doesn't seem like a good idea.

Doesn't have to be ether btw, seeing you're so disgusted by it, maybe precious metals or BBB UUU?

I guess we need to wait for litecoin to officially started segwit implementation and see how is their blockchain performance and positive feedback....this will serve as a benchmark for other crypto to follow suit....

This is perfect setup as theres too much at stale for bigger cap cryptos like ethereum and bitcoin to experiment 1st

Dominance does not equal adoption.
I know its hard to digest but stalemate is good so 2 factions can show their real intention. Thus the events like asicboost, antbleed went viral. Unlike you, I see the stalemate is a good thing. It means no one in control of Bitcoin network. Everyone is free to fork, enter, leave Btc.

Maybe Im disgusted. Idk. The more I look at it, the more it looks like fiat banking system.
ETH may be a good investment to earn more BTC afterall and Im just doing my due diligence.

I dont like to be in a bubble.
Bitcoin might be in a bubble but Japan, Bitfinex, USDT happened. biggrin.gif

Uh stalemate is.....good?

You DO realize what's at stake now right?

Forget the gains for a moment, forget money.

World Food Program is already running Ethereum to help starving people across the globe. Other UN agencies are looking to adopt such tech to enrich lives.

I want you to go and tell them, Bitcoin will help you! Just wait another few years, I mean we've been stagnating for 8 years after all. Just eat dirt okay.

You need to stop being delusional already.

Its 20B stake. And no one is giving that up to any one.

ETH enrich lives by doing what? Explaining what is Ethereum to the poor?
Telling them what does 'unbanked' mean? You'll be lying if you tell them that Ethereum is money. It is not. It is a smart-contract platform.

And thats the keyword: agencies. Fckin vicious intermediaries doing nothing good but taking a 'cut' and do whatever the master said. Yes go on. Invite every single one of them to Ethereum.

Do you even notice why new investors invest on ETH? They said bcse BTC is boring. Lol for real? Good luck entertaining the whales with new tech and 'toys', which keep on evolving every single day. And to keep Ethereum alive, like it or not the devs must adopt. Fundamental doesnt matter. As long as everyones happy. Right?

Crypto exist to make intermediaries obsolete. To include them meaning you need to care abt their interest, no matter how big or small.

At the moment, no way to buy ETH using MYR directly. You have to buy BTC and trade to ETH.

I buy BTC from localbitcoins, remitano, xbit asia and also going to try out Luno. Why so many? It's because I have to hunt for the exchange that has the lowest BTC prices. Once bought, I transfer the BTC to Poloniex or Bittrex. These are the two platforms I use to buy altcoins include ETH.

You can see the front page for further info. wink.gif

I think you should feedback to the sites you frequent and suggest they offer ETH as well. So many trading fees just waiting to be earned.

Don't be like Okcoin letting Korean exchanges reaping the ETH fees.
