True that, i have some bitcoins. But fundamentally will ethereum be the next big thing compared to bitcoin?

Just asking, since you guys are 'yoda' in this
*
We'll get a very concrete answer by the next batch of EEA unveil next month, if it's truly a global effort in adopting this piece of tech, we can easily ascend the throne. But of course I wouldn't like that so soon, that'll make my accumulation effort that much harder.

Very painful to buy at triple digits.

Hardware wallet if kena confiscate how?

Why not cloud/server online wallet?
*
I'm only scared of torture for my PIN and recovery methods.

Even if my Nano S gets destroyed now, I can just order a new one and restore.

Remember, crypto is all about you holding your own keys.

You don't upload house/car keys and ATM card online also mah, same idea applies

Haha, what WooTZ means is that if you lose your hardware wallet for whatever reason, you are still safe as you can get a new wallet and initiate the recovery process. The hardware wallet don't hold any currencies. Just the private keys. That's why I have to keep a copy of my recovery info in the bank's safe deposit box!!!

Shit, I think I will only get my funds next Wednesday, so no buying before then... sad.gif
I wonder if there is any chance the current hype will correct itself, and the prices will come down a bit by next Wednesday so I can buy......

It will most definitely correct, we just don't know when and how much. $45? Or just $60

But it'll have to happen before the announcement.

Btw there's always a pattern I've been noticing, a price rise sometimes occurs right before payday, ETH rises first, then the ICO token follow shortly after.

In this case, Golem is amazing, outperforming ETH on the day itself, that indicates a strong support and less likely to correct as much.

A good hedge indeed, brass golem can't come soon enough.

I'll take your word for it.
Anyway, seems I can't do anything before next Wednesday so no point crying about it.
I can only hope for the best.
If it really does drop to USD 45 next Wednesday before it shoots up on May 4th, I'll be a freaking happy man.

Hindsight is always 20/20

Can't say I didn't try, only 250 people clicked my thread, even lesser people took advantage of the news to gain 400%+

EEA launch day

Went from $15 to $55 at its peak, dived to $42, went back to $50 for two weeks, and here we are.

It will happen again with round 2. I can only guarantee ludicrous price movements, nothing more.

Kopitiam has the most active users, even if 10 people caught wind of the news, it'll surely spread to their friends and family.

I feel a little better knowing some dude actually thanked me for making them a little more rich.

Nice. I was holding my breath when he paid using Ethereum. Luckily it didn't take as long as BTC, which will probably cause me to turn blue and collapse first biggrin.gif

Damn, checked prices in localbitcoins and remitano. Sky high BTC prices. Gonna check xbit later. vmad.gif

Anyway, for mobilego investors, from the email I received :

QUOTE
The MobileGo crowdsale continues to grow. Currently, our total stands at over $6.5 million dollars. All deposits received right now still qualify for the first week 15% discount and an additional 7% if you deposit with GAME.

Again, nobody can tell the future. Golem looks interesting and has potential. Do read up and decide yourself. My opinion is that a lot of cryptocurrencies are still in it's infancy and has great potential. Even with that in mind, I don't buy much as I'm looking long-term rather than short-term movements.

Damn, ETH is looking strong. Waiting for nobody. vmad.gif

On other news, cryptos at 34.2 B and BTC dominance at 62.2% : http://coinmarketcap.com/

Again, remitano and localbitcoins has ridiculous premium for BTC. Xbit has better prices. I think I will try out Luno...... bruce.gif

Update : Looks like Luno has better prices. Damn, have to open another account. rclxub.gif

It's too late for any significant buy now.

However, the best part about golem is resource sharing and passive income, all gaming PCs across the globe can earn GNT by helping artists and scientists to render data.

Best bet is still ETH, just buy frequently with small amounts now, it could reach $100 or $60 next week.

Made my first triple digit weekly buys.

S$101 an ETH, ouch

wengherng Can you kindly add this part to our guide, under "How to buy cryptocurrencies (bitcoins and altcoins) in Malaysia (using MYR)?". The last part after mentioning all the available exchanges. Thx!

Important : In order to get the best BTC price, it is recommended that you check out the prices on all 4 BTC/MYR exchanges. For today, Localbitcoins and Remitano prices are too high. Xbit Asia lower but the best price is at Luno. The only problem with Xbit and Luno is you need to login/sign up to see BTC market details and you need to transferred money to the exchange's bank account which will only be reflected in your account after they have processed it.
