I understand that. That's the reason my strategy hard-forked, soft-forked and segwitted so many times! biggrin.gif My initial aim was BTC but after evaluating other coins, it appeared that the percentage gain would be much better for altcoins rather than BTC. Hence the reason crazy me have more than 40 types of coins with only 0.5 bitcoin in my hardware wallet! biggrin.gif I guess the main issue is which coin do we think have the potential to rise significantly. ETH looks like a no-brainer choice hence a significant percentage of my funds are in ETH. Other than that, besides some other potential coins, I have no clue which one will shoot to the moon next time.

Which coins do you keep? smile.gif

I have a few of each of these
ETH - a friend paid me in them for something he owed me. I write smart contracts so I kept them
BTC - there was a bounty program for testing something I needed anyway - so I tested it hard and got some rewards
XMR - A couple of years ago we started looking at Monero to fork for a project we were working on. I turned on mining by accident and got a block!
XLM - We finally forked Stellar and I was given them.

Since I am always broke I don't invest. blush.gif

Cool. You do crypto programming? Nice. It's definitely better to be paid in BTC/altcoins as they grow in value over time! thumbup.gif

Oh you have experience with Stellar? Any info on it? I'm thinking it is still a relatively "cheap" coin. Don't dare put in more though.

You are not planning to get from here? : https://coinzin.com/

Singapore-based. Registered mail only SG $5 to Malaysia. Courier a bit more expensive. They are out of stock but expected new stock next week.

I thought it came up cheaper on ledger wallet for 2 packs:
EUR110 + shipping ~ EUR 19 = EUR 129 ~ MYR 615
SGD 210 + shipping ~ SGD 5 = SGD 215 ~ MYR 668

well only MYR 50 cheaper but why not. or did I calculate wrongly?

I see people talk about not hodling alt for certain amount of time say 1 month, whats your take on holding so many coins while waiting for them to rise and when would you sell it off?

Eth for example, when is a good time to sell them off? hmm.gif

Different people have different strategies. You have to decide your own. For me, I'm planning to hodl for a long time, provided there are no sudden bad news about the coin. Example was shadowcoin which I sold immediately at a lost once bad news came out.

There was another shipping method about ~EUR 19 few days ago. It seems now no more which I think also out of stock. Might have to wait for 1 week like SG for the shipping option to reappear

Guys, now I just realize what the Ethereum tokens means and the fact that hardware wallets can keep them!!! Was researching on golem wallets and found this : http://neocashradio.com/blog/storing-ether...ardware-wallet/

Apparently any ethereum based token that complies with ERC20 can be kept in MyEtherWallet, which can be used by hardware wallets. I went into MyEtherWallet and found this under "Ether & Tokens".

Attached Image

That means, Trezor and Ledger Nano S can store ETH tokens using MyEtherWallet! The list is long but includes golem, rep, DGD, arc, etc!!!

Need to try this out later with small amounts but anybody stores ETH tokens using MyEtherWallet + hardware wallet? hmm.gif

Now I also understand what Ledger nano S meant about Ether tokens : http://support.ledgerwallet.com/knowledge_...-s-and-the-blue

I do, I kept my ERC20 tokens with my ledger address, using MEW to manage them is seamless.

The way I see things progressing, the only way I'll sell off is Vitalik and his dream team moved on to another project.

I can picture myself spending 0.1 ETH for food and rent etc. who would sell until we reach at such a price?

never forget, the legendary 10000 Bitcoins paid for two Papa John pizzas.

Interesting. Learn new things everyday! thumbup.gif

I will try it myself later but can I get more details?
1) We send the ERC20 tokens to the ethereum address that is provided by hardware wallet?
2) As long as they are ERC20 tokens, using an ETH address is ok? Won't get lost? Meaning ETH address can accept other coins as long as it is ERC20 tokens?
3) What tokens have you transferred using hardware wallet address?

On other news - Wow! Wow! Wow! Many altcoins are gaining ground! Not by much but still a gradual rise. Crypto cap at 35.4B and BTC dominance at 60.8%!

don't fall into FOMO mode and buy coins coz it is cheap. do your research on the team and potential JVs that they have.

That must be the reason you can't see EUR19 shipping. Even buying single wallet turns out cheaper than buying from SG for shipping to KL. But sharing can save further on shipping.

Which asia website are you talking about?
