Well, it's moving just like how a share would move after going ex...

If bought before going ex, hold on to the stock...
which means hold on at least till the next quarter..

again...
if given a choice...
i might not go for this - just cos it's a property counter. wink.gif
never too comfy...
but since paper trade...
I will carry on with this trade...

market going slighty birdie...

The chart for non-adjusted and adjusted, sometimes both may show different interpretation.

Is there a best way to view a chart? Adjust or non-adjusted?

you are doing well with fundamental, why you want to mess it up with TA that everyone interpreted differently based on what they feel right/wrong?

the good fundamental stock rarely offers opportunity for technical entry.

Well...
Sometimes it works...
Sometimes it doesn't one... (why? Big money is never always smart. They make far too many dumb moves too!)

well... except Hengyuan movement wasn't just as nice as Petron and Petdag
did you? smile.gif

Hahaha..... ok let me bore you with my poor answers.... tongue.gif

1. I am extremely selective when I trade (plus I trade only 1 or 2 stocks at any one time)

2. I cannot trade such setups...

this I found out thru past exp. (this is why is so important to start with paper trading and continue paper trading even when you graduated into real life trading)

My rational is always simple.
Know who I am and play my best game (how will I know? Paper trade. tongue.gif)

It's like tennis.
You play?
If you are a much better base line player than a serve/volley player, how should you play?
Play from the back, yes? (very general answer la)

3. What's the catalyst to play such theme stocks?

Well, perhaps, the only half reason is that some stock indicators are showing PERHAPS they are oversold.

And again, oversold/overbought got many types.
On extreme cases, oversold can last a loooooooooooong time.

4. Do not compare yourself with others.

Slightly off topic... tongue.gif
I am me and you are you.

There will be trades you are good at.
There will be plenty of trades I am not good at or will AVOID.

we are different.

So always remember.
What works for me might not work for you.
And my comments?
Treat them as third opinion la..

ok?

So say I bought the day you posted.

If given or forced the choice...
I probably would have chosen Petdag. wink.gif

Here the results so far...

Hengyuan - ref price 3.40 on the day u post.

Tuesday up 0.16
Wed down 0.04
now 3.52.

Overall up 0.12 (assuming entry at 3.40)

Petronm - ref price 5.77

Tuesday up 0.50
Wed down 0.02
now 6.22

overall up 0.45

Petdag - ref price 23.78

Tuesday up 1.06
Wed down 0.94
now 23.88

overall up 0.10

****
Result? Good meh?

Ok?

Still learning mah... If FA already know, now learn TA lo..

I read somewhere... choose the stock based on FA, entry and exit based on TA.. you get the best of two worlds. rclxms.gif

I dont want to choose any chapalang stock merely for the TA to trade shorterm... tongue.gif

then again, why sell on TA and miss the rest of the rides if you based on fundamental of entry?

as mentioned earlier, fundamentally good stocks will not offer much opportunity for trader to time the entry well, and most likely after they sold they will regret selling.

you will have conflict of both school of thoughts when it comes to both entry and exit, especially exit, where fundamentalist sell stocks when it's fully valued, buy when it undervalue.

Meanwhile, for day traders any lousy stocks with good volume can contra, or those with low volume can goreng.

Stick to what work best for ya. If it aint spoil dont fix it.

Nope.

The cup should be rounded at the base.
The volume should be decreasing.

Do not worry.
I seen a lot people doing this and simply decaring stuff.
It's called the 'eyes see what they want to see'...

There is a big misconception that good FA stocks do not need TA to time entry and exit.. i think this is not correct.

Lets say if we identify a good FA stock, can we just enter at any price? Or do we see where is the support level that enable us to enter at a good price?

Even with good FA stock entered at the wrong price, you will lose money. Many examples out there..

And lets say if we are holding another fundamental stock, and the valuations are getting rich (ie expensive) and we want to sell, do we sell at any price? Or do we wait until the price over runs the fair price to sell? And when do we pull the trigger?

Think about it. Like I say FA first for buy/sell decision, TA for pulling the trigger.
