when fundamentalist enter stock, they have their pricing model of fair value, based on eps growth or any other model. Their exist should be anytime price above fair value. every QR will revalue the fair price and when company not perform well, the slowed growth or reduced value will trigger the selling. Or perhaps portfolio re-shuttling to swap low potential to high potential stocks.

Stocks came down from a high ( dun care the reason la)..
So it falls off....
Yes is falling...the VOLUME disappears...
(Yeah..for whatever nobody wants to sell anymore)...
So you get a period where it goes comatose...
After time...
The volume and price increases slightly....
People suddenly remember the stock...
So it goes back up.....
So you get the rounded cup scene...
As it inches back up...to where it fell from....
A cup would have formed.....
But then....
U will have a bunch of sellers who were merely waiting to sell at a higher price+u got a bunch of low price traders who were munching bits and bits at the bottom ...they decides to sell to take profit.....
Now that is the handle formation.......
And once these batch of sellers exhaust their selling...
The stock would erupt once the new wave of buying happens........


Ideally the cup formation takes about 6-8 months...
And too long cup formation isn't ideal either...
ie if the cup takes 2 years or longer to form....

Most pricing models or what they call DCF.. is all mostly bullshit la.. all based on figures plucked from the air. They can make it as good or as bad as they want, by just changing the discount rate or expected growth rate (to infinity LOL). Or some analyst use RNAV or sum of parts, the valuation also more or less pluck from air also..

I prefer to analyze based on current facts or figures, and only looking at the question.. can they make more money next year compared to this year? What is the basis and proof...

Then.. I look at at TA for entry and exit..

March 7 to March 20 trading volume is going down which suggest a downward trend. That's what I'm seeing.

MY fundamental TP: 1.55

Err... i am on my mobile.. so no chart...

Anyway this how i see it....

1. This current uptrend started end 2016.

2. This uptrend is reasonable.
Company has achieved a full fiscal year of positive result.

3. So this is a turnaround play which means those that got in early ( last year ) is reaping the rewards for taking the risk with this company.

4. Turnaround plays...the longer it has turned around, the riskier it gets. Hence, moving forward, for this fella..the main issue is what's next.

Do i trust that this fella got what it takes to deliver future earnings growth?

Me? I doubt it....

5. Back to the charts...as it is..
the downtrend witnessed in early March is merely consolidation of this current uptrend which started end last year.

It's not downtrend...it's consolidation.

6. At this stage...upside is still possible....

But.... you would need to focus on your risk rewards.

Is it justifiable the risk?

Any new projects? What's the new earnings driver?
