Err....

from the above, clearly the mother share is developing a new, SLOW uptrend...

so perhaps it's worth holding on to your WE.

Kinda moving as expected.
The ooomph is not really there which is expected due to the incoming dividend....
So if i wanted to be in...
I would be buying at 805.
Ps. All fake one hor........

No worry on me. For me, I prefer to buy on breakout. Am sure you have the same view?

That would have been the preferred choice but I took into consideration of the div that would go ex on 28th.

Did you take into account that after ex price share price may trend below 80cent?

Usually how u assess the kind of chart? After adjusted I mean. Some graph they automatically adjust for u, some don't.

Edit: oh, just saw the graph. what's ur take on the graph? Did ur view change?

Well, it's moving just like how a share would move after going ex...

If bought before going ex, hold on to the stock...
which means hold on at least till the next quarter..
again...
if given a choice...
i might not go for this - just cos it's a property counter. wink.gif
never too comfy...
but since paper trade...
I will carry on with this trade...
market going slighty birdie...

best we keep our feet firmly on the ground...

stick to our own trading/investing principles....

Break down the trade?

March 7 to March 20 trading volume is going down which suggest a downward trend. That's what I'm seeing.

TakoC

This would have been the chart I was looking at.

user posted image

Well, upon seeing the chart more clearly, perhaps I SHOULD HAVE mentioned the doji (a bit long its leg) that was formed the previous day. Some would consider this as a trading buy.

... and judging from yesterday's movements... they were correct.

Hope to get some thought on this too. High profile deal, but price down 9% upon closing.

Some stocks you just cannot take away the name...
Esp in our markets.

This would have been considered a political linked stock and it's normally news driven... and yes, the risk is events like this can and will happen.

And yes, there is no way I would have able to spot and predicted that massive gap down.

Anyway, as it is, the chart has already indicated a massive event had occurred and caused the gap down...

user posted image

That the stock did not have a follow through selling day and has held steadily firm, recovering gradually...

The volume declined and the stock has held firm.

As such, I would ERR by saying that there's a possibility that the stock would attempt to close that mighty gap....  icon_rolleyes.gif

Volume declined, stock held firm? So to rise on low volume is good?

If sell with low volume is good?
If rise on high volume is good too?

Any rule of thumb?
