1) chase the damn breakout
2) let it breakout, then only add up when stock consolidates

*
Boon, wanna ask for no1, how far do you chase normally? (applies to any breakout stock). And no matter how high one chase, for this stock, the stop loss should be around 2.48 right?

For no2, if wait for consolidates, the stop loss will be different and the price usually won't be around the breakout price already right? Unless it pullback ya?

Haha, well, i ask because sometimes thru asking, one can learn much faster lo. Of course if you state your method, is still up to me to either tweak it into my method or analyze that is it suitable to me lo. Of course wont blindly follow lo

Paper trade or what not, one should be continuously trade with an open mind to learn and may/may not change according to the market lo.

But still, i thought my question no1 is a simple question which referring to 'your' method lo. Haha google lain cerita liao ma T_T

I also get it if you prefer not to state your method wan ma... cheers.gif

u late already... this massive pivot resistance line for 6 month sudah breakout...

u see the buying volume also slowly exhausted already....

just wait few days u will see the price consolidate.

u want to enter also kira fibonacci retracement ratio first wants it hit that low u can masuk in tranches....

but for me this counter already hit its highest price point in shortest time possible...

next uptrend the gain wont be this great....
*
Yea only noticed this after it brokeout. So now with the buying volume exhausted, will see how the price react is the best course of action. Tried fibo before but doesn't really suits me though.

Most likely will paper trade this one.

Since when I care the last time? tongue.gif
The last Traders Koptiam was open for how many years?
Did I say no PE, FA etc etc?

Just don't go be a jerk and try talking like an investor in a traders forum ma....  icon_rolleyes.gif

Some stocks have a relative high PE over its time span...

Question is ...

1. Did it not deserve it?

when others OnG players (like fabricators and what not) ... they got hit bad .... and huge losses were recorded...

How did Dialog do?
Check out Dialog's last 10 years profits...

Does it not deserve its premium pricing?

2. If unsure, there's a simple thing you can do... (shit... I am not hard selling this DIE stock... tongue.gif )

check the PE band range over the last 5 years.

3. Check out the growth rate.

4. Do some profit estimations for the coming quarters/years *this one ask Ah Gark Gor Gor whistling.gif *

etc etc etc....

in short...

some stocks can fly despite its high PE
*
hmm.gif alright, wanna confirm so that won't be stepping on the wrong toes biggrin.gif

Betul juga, still making profits.

I kena few times before coz follow greed chase that high point...rugi big amount but my profit in other trades cover it la....

I only permit u buy on high once it cross not more than 5% of the pivot resistance line.

Same as what Jesse Livermore advice.

My style currently is heavy on Elliot wave theory and fibo.... ill enter during pullback of wave 2 and 4....wave 1 very hard to get into unless u do ur research well and anticipate/focus closely on any single stock....

Usually the insider/big shark will initiate the 1st rally...the pullback will be their profit taking and the next rally will be drive by technical/fundamentalist...the 3rd rally is usually novice/public....

Anyway this is just my POV looking at the market currently biggrin.gif
*
oh, if i take 2.8, 5% is not more than 2.94... biggrin.gif

yea for stocks, is kinda hard to get into the first wave unless you've been monitoring it closely. So best is to wait for pullbacks/consolidation.

sure any POV is welcome bro cheers.gif

Why you so hung up on S&R ?

Do you really see me use such stuff? tongue.gif
*
Haha itu you ma. I find it chart pattern quite subjective for me. So far S/R makes the most sense to me. So gonna try to stick with it and see how it goes loooooooooooooooo

Edit: Either breakout or S/R rejection see which one works better for 'me' lol

For S&R, what's your play target?

The R?

Either breakout or S/R rejection plays. In this case is a breakout play lo

Hmm i thought 895 still a previous breakout price, so wouldn't you hold at least it drops back to 895? But those few orevious candlestick not so pretty though. I normally would still maintain my SL and only trail once a price structure has been formed. Hmm

From my learning pasts...
I have always preferred to be in control of my trades.
I did not like the way the stock was trading after I entered.
Tarak ommph.... doh.gif

And also taking into consideration of HOLDING COMPANIES ( I cannot STRESS how important this issue is) ...
and the history of Insas, as a stock....
I am not comfortable at all with how the stock was trading....

and NO i do not believe in letting FATE decide the success of my trading....

anyway.... again that's me.... (u seem to want to follow me exact... this is a no-no la )
*
Ok so the main point is to also take note of the company's stock pattern/behavior too

Follow u... I will follow u... No matter where may go... I follow I follow I follow lalalala

No la, wanna know what's your thought process behind that only lo. Dont think too much biggrin.gif

NO.
LOL! You are not gonna improve if like that.
Now go use your S/R thing...
How would you continue this trade?
*
Err.. No to which part? Haha, you're referring to I shouldn't use stock's past behavior into consideration?

Well i did state my pov earlier, which was the price still above it's previous resistance/high, so normally would not exit yet, either maintain SL or move to breakeven. So wanna take note if i take into the stock past behavior how would i tweak/improve into my current method loooo

and write down .....

your 'new' plans for the stock.

Hmm not much to comment lo. 0.875-0.88 is its previous supply zone/resistance. 20th and 21st candlestick was not so nice, so if i'm still holding, would watch closely on this level lo.

The chart for non-adjusted and adjusted, sometimes both may show different interpretation.

Is there a best way to view a chart? Adjust or non-adjusted?
