QUOTE(cskean @ Mar 6 2017, 03:52 PM) Yes, the 5 ghz offers faster speed, can reach almost max of 50 DL / 20 ULBut signal might not be as strong as the 2.4 GHZ. sometimes in toilet, the 5 ghz only 1 bar but the 2.4 ghz still full bar But the 2.4 ghz can still reach sometimes up to 40DL and 20 UL All this based on 1 day of usage only. |

QUOTE(cucubud @ Mar 6 2017, 03:54 PM) u still retain old speed?QUOTE(cfa28 @ Mar 6 2017, 03:58 PM) Yes, the 5 ghz offers faster speed, can reach almost max of 50 DL / 20 UL its common wifi characteristic....But signal might not be as strong as the 2.4 GHZ. sometimes in toilet, the 5 ghz only 1 bar but the 2.4 ghz still full bar But the 2.4 ghz can still reach sometimes up to 40DL and 20 UL All this based on 1 day of usage only. higher band signal able to carry data at higher speed....but the signal wavelength is shorter...hence shorter wifi signal distance..... unless your router have removable antenna, u can install higher gain antenna to recover the distance loss.... |

Guys, just recheck again on 6 March 2017 for the surprise. Guess it still remain the same, either Webe or Jumbo pack.
I did have a chat on Live chat, they mentioned my area doesn't support 50Mbps. Are they trying to twist and turn? *P/S: I remove the name to avoid any issue later. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Yeah, I know.and somemore now free Jumbo pack for 3months , can watch my favourite Crime channel daily I am using the internet alone most of the time. Not sure if spending the extra RM30 a month will satisfy me. Moreover, Advance30/50 got no more free calls to TM numbers. |
