With that budget, you could consider an i3 8100.

CPU: CORE I3 8100 (4C/4T) 455
MOBO: GIGABYTE H310M-S2 235
RAM: CRUCIAL D4 PC2400 8GB 337

Thank you. Is it possible to be supported by old 450W PSU? I want to use with a 24" or above monitor. and adding a midrange graphic card at future.

Maybe not the whole of Malaysia but more like depending on your area where blackouts happen frequently or even sometimes areas with low power.
In some situations of terrible weather (heavy thunderstorm) there might be lightning strike and a power surge might happen, this could potentially break your rig. However, this depends on the UPS if it has surge protector or not.
This is where the UPS comes in to help. You get time to shutdown your rig properly.

Not sure about models cause I'm also still looking through the UPS being sold in MY. I know there's a famous brand called APC but that's all I can find in MY so far.  sweat.gif

I need some recommendation, previously was using apc low end models, but everytime kabut after 1-2 years of use. Wonder what other apc model can use?

Does it have 80+ rating? And what GPU are you using?
*
What you mean with 80+? For GPU I'm not yet buy. Just use the integrated gpu.

CPU: CORE I7 8700 (6C/12T) RM1210
MOBO: ASUS PRIME H370 PLUS RM519
RAM: CORSAIR 2666C16 (2X8GB) VENGEANCE LPX RM800

What other features do you need? H370 mobos have most of the features you need for a locked processor.

No point getting high MHZ ram if you're going with H370 mobos as they only support up to 2666MHZ.

QUOTE(Helldana @ Jun 9 2018, 06:45 PM)
AS what Kristal said, the H370 is filled with tons of features already for a locked CPU. H370 and B360 motherboards can only support up to 2666Mhz so there's no point for you on getting any higher than that.

If you want more "power", then you'll have to get an unlocked CPU and go with Z370. There you can opt for higher RAM speeds.
However, none of these options are cheaper by any mean, it only gets more expensive.

80+ rating: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_Plus

Hmmm in that case it'll be fine to run with your current PSU then but when you do get a GPU, I'd suggest to spend on a 80+ PSU as well.
*
I think my PSU is not 80+ compliment. Any GPU is suggested that can support above mentioned spec or system?

Hey guys, thinking to build a rig which is mostly for gaming and other non intensive stuff.

After draft build is as follow, with price gotten from Czone

Item Price
Core i5 8400 705
ASROCK H310M-ITX/AC 385
SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB (SATA) 576
BARRACUDA DESKTOP (4TB) 439
GIGABYTE GTX1070TI 8G WF2 OC 2169
CRUCIAL D4 PC2400 2x8GB 674
Cooler Master MWE 550W 215
MASTERBOX MB600L 189

Chosen the motherboard due to the fact that I may not upgrade or add new cards to the board, and it come with wifi/bluetooth adaptor inbuilt, which is quite sweet.

I will be playing with 27" 1440p monitor, and if you guys have any good suggestion, please let me know. Casual gamer here, most probably looking at 60-80 fps for most game. Maybe you guys can share with me some opinion if high refresh rate/low latency is really necessary.

Please let me know if you have any better suggestion smile.gif

Uhhh you mean GPU or PSU? If you meant PSU, any 500w PSU with 80+ bronze rating will be good enough smile.gif
*
Yes.. I mean with PSU Which don't have 80+ rating.. And which GPU is support by the mentioned PSU?

Just my two cents, if you're concern about having wifi and bluetooth, you could easily get external adapters at a very low price. Having that ITX mobo in an ATX case is gonna look very 'unpleasant' (refer to the pic attached).

WiFi: https://shopee.com.my/TP-Link-TL-WN727N-Wir...52941.511396191
Bluetooth: https://shopee.com.my/NIC-Bluetooth-4.0-USB...23616.838905218

I'd suggest getting a MATX mobo instead to have a more balanced look.
*
I have tried those dongle before, but connectivity is quite bad, and filmsy. If you don't mind, perhaps you can suggest me a smaller case or a larger board.

Cant argue with that recommendation.

I suggest you top up for good PSU so everything inside has better chance to last longer. PSU like Super Flower Leadex II Gold 550W or Corsair TX 650M at RM429 are good PSUs. For faster SSD, WD Blue 250GB M.2 around RM350.

C-Zone should have it. They are still listing it for years. You can order from Dell directly anyway.

Hmmm right. I’m using the mentioned TP Link usb dongle and it still works fine for me to date.

A smaller case that’s around the budget you allocated for a case would be Tecware Nexus M that costs around RM140.

As for larger boards with WiFi and Bluetooth, they cost around RM500+.
*
Thanks a lot bro, that one look nicer too.

Core i5 8400
ASROCK H310M-ITX/AC
SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB (SATA)
BARRACUDA DESKTOP (4TB)
GIGABYTE GTX1070TI 8G WF2 OC
CRUCIAL D4 PC2400 2x8GB
Cooler Master MWE 550W
TECWARE NEXUS M

Would like to get this monitor as well: https://www.lelong.com.my/lenovo-monitor-le...7-01-Sale-I.htm
