You have a few options to think about.
Dell P2418D 24 inch monitor with 1440p resolution at 929 (Dell). You get a qHD resolution space to use which lets you have more space on the screen to production. Its an IPS screen so the colours and viewing angles would be good. However the drawback is that you would get lower response time since it is an IPS 60hz monitor.
Dell S2719H 27 inch at 1080p for 949 (Dell). You get 27inches but at 1080p. Bigger real estate to view but smaller resolution.
Dell U2417H 24 inch 1080p monitor for 969 (Dell) that is meant for photo editing and etc. This monitor should be very good for colour reproduciton and editing but has a lower resolution and screen space.

P is professional. They're typically IPS displays and designed for businesses and offices. Usually have good color calibration. they're comparable to the S and U at times but with a focus on productivity.
S is studio or entertainment/gaming. They look nice, usually IPS, glossy, edge-to-edge glass, etc, costs more than the E series. Color calibration is great. Majority of people are usually satisfied with this series.
U is ultrasharp (as you already know). They're the premium line. All IPS, excellent color calibration, looks great, have the latest digital ports (hdmi, displayport, thunderbolt maybe), advanced color controls, etc.
LG 29UM59A 29 inch 75hz 2580x1080 for . You get an ultrawide resolution which gives more horizontal space to view your editing and work. It allows you to have more tabs and windows open at once and gives you more real estate in FPS games to see the enemies without moving the screen as much.
Acer ED273 1080p VA 144hz panel for 579 (Lazada). The colours are not as good as an IPS but black are darker due to the increase contrast ratio of 3000. The response time is faster than the IPS at 4ms but still slower than a normal TN so it won't be as good in game.
Viewsonic Vx2757mhd 1080p 75hz TN panel for 700 (Lelong). The contrast ratio is recorded as 1000 and above in some reviews so the colours would be sufficient but may not be as good as the VA or IPS panels. It has low response time so less lag in game
Viewsonic Xg2402 1080p 144hz TN for 900 (Shopee). This has good colours for a TN screen and has 144hz so no problems in FPS.
Thx for the good information.. :
