CPU: CORE I7 8700 (6C/12T) RM1210
MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX H370-F GAMING RM659
RAM: CORSAIR 2666C16 (2X8GB) VENGEANCE CMR RGB RM847

If you're only looking to game, Intel still gives better performance. 8GB is sufficient for most games these days but since you have quite a bit of budget to upgrade, you could get 16GB for more headroom.

Whats the exact model of your PSU? If you have a good PSU, 550w will be enough.

Thanks for the suggestion, my PSU is cooler master g550m.

I don't need RGB, is there any better:

Mobo with more features/cheaper?

16gb ram with higher MHz/cheaper?

Thank you

RAM: CORSAIR 2666C16 (2X8GB) VENGEANCE LPX RM800

What other features do you need? H370 mobos have most of the features you need for a locked processor.

No point getting high MHZ ram if you're going with H370 mobos as they only support up to 2666MHZ.

AS what Kristal said, the H370 is filled with tons of features already for a locked CPU. H370 and B360 motherboards can only support up to 2666Mhz so there's no point for you on getting any higher than that.

If you want more "power", then you'll have to get an unlocked CPU and go with Z370. There you can opt for higher RAM speeds.
However, none of these options are cheaper by any mean, it only gets more expensive.

With that budget, you could consider:

SUPER FLOWER 550W LEADEX 80+ SILVER RM 301.00

What about these:

CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 3400G 3.7GHZ RM629.00
MOBO: ASROCK B450M PRO4 RM288.00
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 3200MHZ RM359.00
PSU: FSP 500W HYDRO K 80+ PLUS BRONZE RM189.00
CASE: COOLER MASTER MASTERBOX Q300L RM149.00

Total: RM1,614 (E Tech PC prices)

Not sure what SSDs you have but its recommended to go for those with DRAM if the ones you have are DRAMless.

cpu - ryzen 5 2400g - rm539
mobo - Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H - rm249 , or take this r5 3400g bundle @ RM770.00 SHOPEE LINK
ram - Kingston HyperX Fury 8gb 3200mhz - RM175 SHOPEE
SSD- reuse
PSU - Corsair vs450w - RM140+-
Case - Tecware NEO Dual TG - RM180
Thermalpaste - Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut 1g - RM25+-

rm1290 if u take mobo bundle. well if just light use its mostly on the ssd then.
as usual, repaste the stock amd fan and set fan curve and should be good to go. set XMP profile for the ram. dont need gpu.
if you want u can get better psu with around rm200+- top up.

You might wanna look at Gamers Nexus video on choosing PSUs before deciding to buy a 850W psu.
*
I check psu calculator, I will use 608w out of my 650w in load. By my understanding, psu should have more headroom so can last longer.

In that video use rtx 2080ti, ~277w on load.

Rtx 3080 is 320w, aib sure become ~350 bcuz got oc

So why should I not upgrade?

My understanding of tech is not good so please clarify
