Quick question. Will the samurai rubber skirting helps prevent stone chips?

Has your issue been solved? My SC say the floor board needs to be changed. Don't know if it's a good idea. Centre console also needs to be dismantle in this case. sad.gif

I took my car to Tiong Nam in Setia Alam on Monday. They say they adjusted the carpet. The creaking is still there but a lot less now. I can still feel a bit of bump and uneveness of the floor.
Next round of service I'm going to another SC to see what they say.

I took my car to Tiong Nam SC in Setia Alam. Pissed off with Tiong Nam now.
I went there expecting some decent level of service but got sub-par at best. I had an appointment and yet had to wait for 45 minutes before they checked my car in. They called other numbers first even though I arrived early and waited for my turn.
I can see that the tech had 2 cars to work on and a lot of time my car was just in the bay untouched.
To top it all off, they scratched my car badly and couldn't answer when I questioned them about it. The SA just offered to have it polished by their resident polishing guy.

Is this normal that u cannot disable auto aircond by push it? I went to SC Bangi and they said no problem with it.

The only way to disable it is by pushing climate button and choose aircond speed manually

Disable aircond? You mean turn off aircond? There is an on/off slide thereon the left of the right temperature knob. Or if you mean you want to control the fan manually (or off aircond, but want the fan only), rather than auto, then yes, you need to press on the climate button.

What i normally do: just use auto, fan speed / aircond too cold, turn the temperature up. If it's too hot, turn the temperature down. Simple and easy.

The SC said they adjusted the carpet, whatever that means. The sounds is reduced now but I can still feel that the carpet is uneven. Gonna try again next service.

Hmmm... if 1.8K is just for the windscreen, I'd better top up my windscreen insurance to include tint cost as well. A bit weird they asked for variant, since the windscreen should be the same...

What was their advice anyway on the duration to wait before tinting your windscreen?
*
How do you claim the extra for tinting when replacing the windscreen?

Hi all,

Currently trying to compare these 3 cars: Civic, Mazda 3 and the Altis. Can anyone comment?

1. Which one has less wind noise when driving on the highway?

2. Which one has a more comfortable ride when driving at highway speeds?

3. Which one is more composed / more stable at say around 150km/h? Can be stable until how many km/h?

4. Which one has a better throttle response in heavy traffic? Means like when step on the gas pedal, it moves instantly. No hesitation, no need to wait before it starts to move.

Thanks!

Went to SC to report on the rattling sound on my dashboard when running on uneven road. The SA told me need to put my car there 2 days for them to inspect.
Told me that they will dismantle the whole dashboard to check and will test and make sure the sound is fully address to.
Feeling sad as the car is only 3mths old

So you are leaving your car to them?

Sometimes dunno whether service center can be trusted or not. Who knows one of the technician owned a civic and he swapped away your newer parts!

Im not leaving it today as I will need to use my car to work.Weekends only for service and this caused a lot inconvinience to me.But no choice I had make an appointment at the end of the month where I can leave it there.
If they really wana swap, no need to leave the car there also.Service time they can do wat ever they want as we are not allow to go in the service bay. Though i'm concern on the issue you raised but it leave me no choice.
