QUOTE(cryptchid @ Mar 16 2017, 02:16 PM) Don't know yet, and hope I won't have a need to find out I did not quite get it when my SA explains about this HIP. I guess in a few months the 1st batch of owners will be renewing their roadtax+insurance, I wonder how many will continue with HIP My car is under etiqa insurance but still cover under HIP, is that right? |

QUOTE(isr25 @ Mar 16 2017, 11:39 AM) Disable aircond? You mean turn off aircond? There is an on/off slide thereon the left of the right temperature knob. Or if you mean you want to control the fan manually (or off aircond, but want the fan only), rather than auto, then yes, you need to press on the climate button. Not turn off the aircond, but to disable the auto mode. What i normally do: just use auto, fan speed / aircond too cold, turn the temperature up. If it's too hot, turn the temperature down. Simple and easy. So it means we cannot disable auto mode aircond by pushing that knob but need to do it manually by pressing climate button. |

QUOTE(selphy @ Mar 24 2017, 10:42 AM) I drive the 1.5 TC, and I have been noticing issue #1 (AC issue) a few times lately, especially during very hot weather. Both the aircon on and off buttons are off when I press the climate button. Im facing the same issue and brought up to SC Bangi but they say theres no problem as i put it on Auto Mode. I read that some have managed to resolve the issue by changing the compressor; I am at Honda Setia Alam now but they seem unable to find the problem. Cant blame them; as this issue rarely pops up. For those who managed to fix it, which SC (hopefully KL/PJ area) did you go to? Might be easier if I went some place that have fixed it before. EDIT: Upon further testing, they detected a fault in the compressor and will make the report to get it replaced under warranty. Thanks all Will definately bring this up again together with the rattling sound that has been fixed before but the sound return abt 1 week after they changed new panel under the steering. |

QUOTE(joejee @ Apr 4 2017, 10:34 PM) So you solved it by putting something in the pillar A? Or the SC fixed for you already? How they fix it? Honda fixed it. My SA quite blurred when I asked what was being done. He just told me that technician open up the dashboard at A pillar and dont know what tech did to fix it.I Don think I should put something to solve the rattling sound, instead Honda should fix it permanently. Ain't gonna stuck a paper there for a new 100k++ car... Lol |
