Possible, also maybe people will drive more slowly to save fuel!
*
For me, my current working place at PJ not possible to take public transport, quick Google map direction showing single trip require 40 mins of walk + 20 mins of LRT. Round trip per day would be 80 mins of walk, not possible la.

If working office are those KL area with nearby LRT access, I'm happy to take LRT, been done that many times.

Of coz the better option would be alternate WFH, but you know many local Bosses still insisted to come back office even though our job nature can WFH + onsite if required.

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price - even RON97! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future.

If calculating 24/5 to 30/5 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM4.57 and RM4.87 respectively (±1 sen). For the first time ever, the petrol subsidy for RON95 is more than RM2.05 - higher than the retail price of RON95!

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go down by 3 sen from last week at RM4.67 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

Probably next week may increase again cuz Europe has just released another round of embargo on Russian oil with the aim of stopping 90% of Russian oil from Europe by end of the year.

My working place is at PJ, stay Kajang. So take MRT combo with LRT, sharp 1 hour arrive Asia Jaya LRT from Kajang MRT 1st station. Need to walk 10 minutes from lrt to office. I get 6k steps per day using this.

Drive is not possible in my case to get 1 hour drive, traffic jam worsen lately.

Actually got quite a number of my colleagues staying at Kajang, daily drive to PJ office too.

If RON95 no more subsidy and petrol price increases, not sure how's everyone's lifestyle gonna change...
