Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future.

If calculating 28/6 to 4/7 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM4.51 and RM4.81 respectively (±1 sen). For the first time ever, the petrol subsidy for RON95 is more than RM2.05 - higher than the retail price of RON95!

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go down by 13 sen from last week to RM4.71 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

So… it seems that they are now following the old pricing (i’m guessing). Not sure how long will they continue the RON95 subsidy tho

The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future.

If calculating 5/7 to 11/7 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.95 and RM4.25 respectively (±1 sen).

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go down by 30 sen from last week to RM4.50 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

Gomen running dry, have to get some back by whatever means necessary. Best chance is via 97 since majority using 95.

So it seems like RON97 users are now paying around RM50 sen extra than the "normal calculation". Still a paltry amount than what the government is paying for RON95 subsidy which is a staggering RM1.90 extra than "normal calculation".
