Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future. If calculating 28/6 to 4/7 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM4.51 and RM4.81 respectively (±1 sen). For the first time ever, the petrol subsidy for RON95 is more than RM2.05 - higher than the retail price of RON95! Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go down by 13 sen from last week to RM4.71 (±1 sen). Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source ![]() -PuPu^ZaPruD3r-, HippyTony, and 2 others liked this post

QUOTE(isr25 @ Jul 6 2022, 05:33 PM) So… it seems that they are now following the old pricing (i’m guessing). Not sure how long will they continue the RON95 subsidy tho I don't think they will dare to remove the RON 95 subsidy.. OPR just increase today.. need to win GE first then only can increase BLANk_, Lone Wolf X, and 2 others liked this post

So it seems like RON97 users are now paying around RM50 sen extra than the "normal calculation". Still a paltry amount than what the government is paying for RON95 subsidy which is a staggering RM1.90 extra than "normal calculation".
