Well, for me, I personally don't mind paying even 50 sen tax for fuel now, especially since it's so cheap. Need to help improve the country's coffers anyway.
*
Then better convert the current sst towards gst. More income generate by gst alone then sst + any other future tax

Which is better? RON 97 V-Power or RON 100? Want pump either one since petrol so cheap now
*
Ron100 100% better than vpower racing. If u drove car that need min 98 ron.

V power racing only advertise as better cleaning etc vs its 95.
If that, BHP also best for it, as double additives.

It's crazy to see that petrol price is continuously lower than crude price. You don't see that often! That's how bad the market is right now.

Whole world citizens lockdown, massive drop demand, all flights on hold, no demand.

Supply produce still fight between the top 3 producer alliance

*
So which additive is better for cleaning? BHP double additives or red v power racing?

Sorry, is this the 330i F30 or the old 330i E90?

If compression ratio is 11:1 with turbocharged,  then I think 97 is safer. Having said that since BMW put 95 on the fuel cover, then surely they have adjusted the tuning to suite 95, hence it should run perfectly fine with 95 and the improvement of 97 might not be significant.

Mazda 13:1 compression is because it's GDi NA engine. Like my Mark X, 12:1, yet I just fill up 95 for it!
*
Agreed. No point filled up 97 for car tuned with 92, 95 or some even 90.

Unless the car had been sent to sunway for ecu tuning/ remapped etc, definitely they load up the ron97 for better hp, torque gain on the graph

Aiya, suddenly the price increment caught me by surprise! Got some Setel voucher expiring end June, but nowadays WFH seldom go out, if anticipated this price increases definitely today will ask my family member to utilize the Setel voucher for some RON 97.
*
Follow market price right? Just that we also had gomen tax on top of the price as stated.

He said starting from February 29, KPDNHEP changed the mechanism for the control of retail prices of petrol and diesel through a directive issued under Regulation 12A of the Control and Supply Regulations 1974 under the Control of Supplies Act 1961.

https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/202...c-trade/1874313

No wonder the pricing no longer follows...
*
I don't understand. They will let petrol companies and station to decide the fuel price with guidance of standard price set by gomen?

Now, Malaysian seems happy petrol price increased under PN rule. None of Malaysian complaint but during PH time all like no future tomorrow. We thank you PN keep on increase petrol price.
*
not supporting any parties, but the fuel price is almost similar as what was calculated by a forumer here (isr25) . the one period not ok what during covid peak time, where ron95 was sold at rm1.25 and could be lower due to global price going down.
nowadays, global price is picking up hence we are getting that as well

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 29/10 to 4/11 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM1.46 and RM1.76 respectively (±1 sen).

If we follow the Automatic Pricing Mechanism and Sales Tax Act, the government is allowed to "tax" us higher by 60sen per litre for petrol products sold.

Over the past few weeks, the government has applied a hidden tax of approximately 8 sen. Thus, I estimate that RON95 and RON97 will decrease by 10 sen from last week to RM1.54 and RM1.84 respectively (±1 sen)
