Doesn't matter but keep up the good work! Who knows, maybe they purposely added some flavors of twist and turns upon calculation to throw those tracking off tracks or disoriented.

Probably extra subsidy until raya week. rclxms.gif

Extra income from KWSP 40.1 bil withdrawal - easily gov will earn from 6% SST around 2.4bil in a short period. No matter what the KWSP members do with their money - gov will get 6% SST. rclxs0.gif

And don't forget the extra feel good factor as this is most probably will be the election year for GE15. icon_rolleyes.gif

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price - even RON97! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future.

If calculating 19/4 to 25/4 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.88 and RM4.18 respectively (±1 sen).

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go up by 13 sen from last week at RM3.94 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

If calculating 3/5 to 9/5 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM4.22 and RM4.52 respectively (±1 sen). For the first time ever, the petrol subsidy for RON95 is more than RM2.05 - higher than the retail price of RON95!

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go up by 30 sen from last week at RM4.24 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

bizarre

it's a battle between the cleaner 97 against the famous 95

then there's this question, does 95 has long term effects on TSi engines. or the mixture is good only for N/A

It's not even a contest! At less than half the price, just drink 95 la. Most cars even sports cars can drink 95 actually, just people saja shiok sendiri with 97! No such thing as 97 is cleaner than 95, or 95 only for NA cars. I run turbo car at 1.6 bar boost can still drink 95 with proper tuning making almost 400whp. If really die2 must drink 97, then mix 95+100 at ratio of 3:2, then you get same 97 at the price of only around rm3.2-3.3/ltr.
