It's still early this week, but indications is that the fuel price will be going down again next week! In fact, if they took into account yesterday's oil price, it should be around RM2.05 per liter at the most...

Daily fuel price yesterday was RM2.02 and the day before was RM2.01. 1st May daily fuel price was RM2.00. Things are looking good for now!

Ha3! Guys, no need to marah2 - as I said in the original post, I’m doing this for my own hobby - not to get famous, or thanks. If my hobby helps you, great! If you don’t need it, you don’t need to come in pun smile.gif i’ll still keep track of it, even if no one uses this thread - it’s for my own personal hobby.

Just ignore those 'ignorant guys' since they are ignorant anyway but i wonder why not extend their ignorance to their own 2 cents? LOL.

Not worth our attention anyway. Not even their whatever cents haha.

Keep up the good work mate.

Same old same old. Politics. Lol. Subsidy is better than no subsidy. At least we can see the subsidy is there and we get to feel the benefit 1st hand. Without subsidy, all talks only, where has the saving from removal of the subsidy gone to? Only god and the gonies knows.

Any link? So far only saw posted statement in the forum but yet to see any official news or announcement. And whether that posted statement is as true as it is, nobody can verify for now. Suggest wait for the official announcement before commenting further.

People with money that buys performance car won't be bother about petrol price. Those normally complain are those who pump 97 into their normal car, which only needs 95.

Don't go argue with them, drag down our intelligence only.
*
Second this haha. Let them complaint lol. I believe the majority users will appreciate such arrangement over those who don't even know what fuel is to be used for their cars.

Final update for the petrol price this month - looks like we are subsidizing the government for the past 3 weeks:

RON95 estimate average weekly price for the past few weeks is:
12-16: RM2.17
19-23: RM2.11
26-28: RM1.95

RON95 estimated average price for the upcoming December is RM2.16 (average price for November 1-28) and RON97 is estimated to be RM2.30 (an average difference of 14 sen from RON95). If it's higher than this prices for December 1, it means that the government is taxing its citizens more. Fuel up on Saturday onward people.

Guys, let’s not point all the guns at lge. Obviously lge is just the spokesmen for gomen. All decision comes from head of gomen. Obviously someone met with petrol station association on 31st of December just before the sudden announcement of hold on drop to fuel price.

Now let’s just wait for the fuel drop announcement later this week. Will hope that the new gomen will carry out reform as promised!

As there was no official exchange rate on 1/2, 5/2 and 6/2 as well as no MOPS on 5/2 and 6/2 - there is a certain amount of guesswork that needed to be done. In any case, the petrol price will definitely go up this week - by how much, that is the real question.

Feb RON95 RON97
31* RM1.94 RM2.24
1 RM1.93 RM2.23
4 RM2.01 RM2.31

If using normal calculation method, and assuming the price of petrol & exchange rate on 5 & 6 will follow 4th numbers, then fuel price that will be announced is RM1.97 for RON95 and RM2.27 for RON97.

If we disregard the petrol price for 5 & 6 Feb, then the fuel price would be RM1.95 for RON95 and RM2.25 for RON97.

My guess? It'll go up to RM1.97 for RON95 and RM2.27 for RON97. Fuel up by Friday peeps.

Calculation and table of estimated price can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN

If calculating 6/6 to 12/6 cycle (Thursday to Wednesday - weekends are using Friday prices), RON95 should be around RM2.10, and RON97 should be around RM2.40.

However, since they announced that RON95 will be capped at RM2.08/l, my estimate, is that they will be announcing that RON95 will maintain at RM2.08 and RON97 price go down by 23 sen to RM2.40 (±1 sen).

Doesn't matter but keep up the good work! Who knows, maybe they purposely added some flavors of twist and turns upon calculation to throw those tracking off tracks or disoriented.

Gomen running dry, have to get some back by whatever means necessary. Best chance is via 97 since majority using 95.

Actually govt has been subsidizing the RON97 price for a while, but not sure why...

Pretty sure there are lots on the plate on changes, revisions and reforms to be implemented and carried out. Prolly ron97 is not amongst the priority for the mean time.
